This is great stuff, I’ve been able to leave sticky messy drive trains behind for good. With this, my bike drive trains are generally clean and free of gunk all the time. It sheds muck well in dry and wet conditions. It’s also keeps the chain really quiet - that’s now my reminder to relive the chain as soon as it starts to make some noise.

Great stuff... but expensive. Single drip on each pin then sit back and watch it soak in and penetrate. I put cardboard under the bike thinking this would be the normal disaster zone. But the only drips were where I missed the chain in the first place. Nothing from spinning the chain, nothing from any excess dropping. 20mins later and the white goo has turned clear with tangible, noticeable, positive results. Like so many things, you get what you pay for. 5/5 for performance, but docked a star on price.

Excellent chain wax. Works really well, easy to use, small nozel allows for precise application. Will probably get between 5-8 chain applications with this size bottle.

Finally took the plunge and waxed my chain. Hot pot and all that. Not convinced chain will last longer but like the idea of less mess / easy cleaning. All good but the drive train seems noisier than before. I got this SILCA Super Secret Bike Chain Lube to apply as a 'top-up' between proper cleaning / chain re-wax. Suddenly things are quieter. I'm applying quite frequently to keep things quiet as possible and I don't ride in the wet. Still, no more mucky fingers or degreaser.

Give the chain a really good clean and apply as instructions and you will find this a quick way to wax your chain

I used a wax type smooth lube on my new bike and within 300 miles it was black. Needed a new chain as I changed one of the cogs and was horrified at how black and gunky the cogs and chain were. So I then find this. Cleaned the new wax off the new chain smd put this new stuff on. 290 miles later, it's still all really clean.l9oking. No black gunk build up at all. It's expensive but it's blooming good. You only need a little each time tou lube your chain too so a bottle will probably last a couple of years I reckon.
