I have purchased multiple brands of collars for my dogs, and this Citizen K9 dog collar is by far my favorite. It has an extremely "soft" neoprene lining stitched inside the patterned outer layer. This is a well made, high quality collar. The fabric pattern and stitching are all lined up perfectly and the pattern has not faded at all yet. I like the clasp used on this collar; it is strong & sturdy yet is lightweight. The separate ring for an ID tag is wonderful and eliminates noise as well as damage to the tag from clanging against the metal ring 24 hours a day. I purchased this in the "large" size for my 80 lb dog and it fits him perfectly. This is a washable collar with a reflective label & stitching that is holding up beautifully on my very active young dog. I am very happy with my purchase.

First, I love the houndstooth pattern, with the complementary trim. And the matching leash. The quality of both is evident. The collar has 2 rings. One is metal - for the leash. And a smaller black ring for ID. The craftsmanship of the collar is evident. Its lightly padded, the stitching is precise, with no loose, overstitched, or dangling thread. The buckle is a complimentary color hard plastic - with a decorative logo - cute!. I am very happy with my purchase - both red and turquoise.

Light and comfortable-looking neoprene collar for smaller breeds. Others I have tried turned out to be too wide and too thick and were probably hot to wear. I bought two; photo shows small Citizen K9 in black next to Alcott brand in green, and medium Citizen K9 in blue pattern next to Alcott in solid blue. You can see there is a huge size difference! D ring size matters to the littler guy, too...he got his dew claw caught 2 or 3 times in the chunkier collar so could not leave it on him unattended. Only downside I can find to the Citizen K9 is the light color of the back of the blue collar, which I expect will soil quickly. Otherwise materials and price are comparable.

Puppy outgrew his first collar and it was time for a replacement. Hunted a lot of places online including a lot of listings on amazon. Glad I arrived at this one. Nice collar! Not flimsy, doesn't unbuckle too easily, doesn't seem shoddy and wasn't too expensive. All wins! It has two metal rings on it, I put his tag on the smaller one. I don't normally attach a leash right to the collar but in the few times I have so far, have had no issues with the larger ring.

I bought 2 of these collars xs for my cat and the med for my boston terrier. The collars are somewhat stretchy and soft kinda like padded collars. Both collars had sharp edges on the side toward my pets skin!.... I cut the sharp parts away with scissors and a knife, hopefully I got it all! Will continue to check so it's not uncomfortable to my pets!Also them main reason I bought them was for the bright teal color I seen online. Once I received them I was disappointed the color is not as bright as shown, I could have bought the same thing at any pet store for less $$!As long as they don't hurt my pets I will continue to use them, but won't reorder!

I bought this collar for my growing puppy. The collar seems durable. He had another collar (not sure what brand) and it frayed. He's been wearing this collar over a week and so far, no fading or fraying. My only complaint is that the dog logo on the collar buckle must be a sticker or something because it fell off. Not sure if I vacuumed it up or if the dog ate it (hopefully not!)

I purchased this collar for my cat who spends time outside during the day. I wanted something strong and durable as he seems to be able to shred cat collars. This collar is a little thick for a cat but it works. It is very well made and should last him a very long time. I am pleased with this purchase.

I had been looking for a soft collar and this is perfect. I only have one suggestion. Since my dog is a pug with basically no neck, it would be nice to have a collar that attaches with velcro instead of traditional hard buckles.Thanks for a very nice product.
