I’m very impressed with this maca. Because it is gelatinized it is absorbed better without cooking it. Taste is nutty and coffee- like.

My 18 year old daughter liked using this in her shakes and blended drinks. She said she does feel it gave her a natural energy boost. I think the price was good for the amount since it is just something you add and not the whole drink itself.

The taste is mild and pleasant, and while you could also mix it into oatmeal or yogurt, I stick with smoothies. Here's the thing— this product is a game-changer. It really helps boost energy and reduce stress. It’s also great for people with low libido and has been used for centuries by indigenous cultures to alleviate menopause symptoms—and let me tell you, IT REALLY WORKS! This maca powder gave me total relief. I even stopped using it for a while to cut down on the ingredients in my (then) expensive smoothies, So, maca definitely made the cut back into my routine, and I’ll keep using it. Earthy smell and taste (it tastes the way it smells). It is very powdery so when you open it there will be a dust cloud. The powder does not dissolve as well as I would like. I added it to orange juice and mixed it and there were small pockets that did not dissolve well. I guess if you blend it into a smoothie as suggested you may not notice this issue. I'm hoping the benefits outweigh this minor issue.
