Up and running in minutes. I needed a way to display my security camera on the TV (picture-in-picture window) since the system doesn't interface with any controllers. I was able to send the signal from the video recorder's HDMI monitor port through this converter to a $5 modulator and then out to the TV over coax on channel 3. It works beautifully. I expected more signal loss due to multiple conversions, but the picture is actually pretty good. Very pleased...

Bought 2 of these to use with Amazon Fire Sticks on 2 older TVs. I bought some of these to plug the Fire Sticks and these converters to power: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076NQM7GM/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_10 The converters work real good and I have great audio/video quality. The only issue seems to be leaving them connected to power 24/7. They will heat up after several days and stop working. To avoid the issue I disconnect the Fire Stick and Converter from power when I turn the TV off.

If you were hoping to watch high quality picture movies on an older TV, this probably isn't for you - but if you want to turn an older TV in to an extended monitor on a new laptop - this works great. Received it, plugged it in and it worked. I'm now able to extend the life of a larger flat screen TV that didnt' have an HDMI input.

I use this product all the time for my kids. I have been able to convert the HDMI to AV inside my SUV so that my kids can play their Nintendo Switch on the screens of the SUV. I was glad I found this product. I recommend it all the time to people that are looking for a solution to their video audio conversion. Product has giving me piece of mind on long car trips during family vacations.

This product works for the purpose I bought it for, which was to attach the Roku stock to it since my HDMI went out on my TV. But about two hours of tv watching it makes my Roku overheat, and both the device and Roku stock is very hot. I do not recommend this product. I would have returned it, but I didn’t look into it until the deadline was up. DisaPpointed

Worked just fine but be advised that it needs USB power which is a bit weird since if I had a USB port for power I wouldn't need this product. I was using on an older TV with no USB so I bought a power strip with USB power ports. No real complaints other than that. Yeah, I'd recommend it.

I have a nice tv but the HDMI ports is broken. Got a PS4 and didn’t want to buy a new tv to use it. This thing works! I’ve only used it for a day but I cannot complain. Don’t expect HD. It does have a decent picture though

I really do enjoy this adapter as it lets me use my Nintendo Switch on my old RCA TV. The picture is clear enough to where I can play Super Mario Odyssey and MarioKart 8 Deluxe without eye strain. The reason I give it four stars is because its long setup can be quite annoying as well as the fact that if you unplug something on accident, it messes up the output (usually the video) and then you have to unplug the adapter, stop the input, plug the adapter back in, and then start the input again. Other than that I think this adapter is worth your money.

If I could put zero stars I would!! It sucks it converts to black and white I have tried all different cords and different TVs but still black and white!!!! Also it has destroyed my roku that I tried to use with it. since I tried to use this box with my roku it will no longer work on any tv at all or will not even turn on!!

This converter doea not work properly I hooked it into my tv and my cable box the video is very flickery and the color seems to cut in and out. I have also tried different HDMI cables, rca cables and USB cables and it still does not work. This seller does not have a return policy so it is going straight into the bin DO NOT BUY
