For the record, I own and have built, far more real Lego sets and MOC's than most. I "used to be" a strong Lego purist. Recently, however, Funwhole has changed this whole dynamic. They are amazing! First of all, they do not "rip off" genuine Lego sets or published MOC's. Instead, they come up with their own sets and even specific parts. ...and these parts are of EXCELLENT quality, as good, or better, than Lego bricks. Furthermore their instructions are top-notch, printed with accurate, vibrant colors. And all of this is just the beginning! As opposed to Lego, that just provides shallow fronts to buildings, Funwhole's buildings are generally 3x as deep and enclosed on all sides, making them perfectly realistic. These outsides are incredibly well detailed and all feature hinged portions to reveal even more detailed interiors. Though I build them as static models, their playability for any child is without peer. And did I mention that all of their sets are lighted?!? ...and over HALF the price of Lego! So here it is in summary... With Funwhole, you get at least twice as many bricks, buildings 3x bigger (and enclosed), awesome playability and a FREE built in light kit for less than HALF the amount charged by the major brand. I am completely sold. One final note just to emphasize how great they are... they even provide a small metal screwdriver (for opening the battery box) AND a pair of metal tweezers to safely remove the lighting electrical connections without damaging the wires. Who does that?!?

This cabin set delivers a genuinely enjoyable multi‑day build with clear pacing and well‑structured bags, making it easy to complete a few sections each evening. All bricks were present, including extras, and the instructions stood out for their clarity—clean diagrams, consistent callouts, and helpful brick‑size references that reduce guesswork. The integrated LED lighting is a highlight of the experience. The wiring is straightforward, the components fit cleanly into the structure, and the final glow adds a lot of atmosphere to the finished model. The included minifigures are a nice touch and help round out the winter‑cabin theme. I purchased this as part of a bundle with the Ski Lodge, bringing each set to around $80, which is an exceptional value given the part count, lighting package, and overall presentation. My only note is that the base flexes slightly when lifting or repositioning the build; once placed on a shelf or desk, it’s not an issue, but a reinforced foundation would improve handling during assembly or relocation. Overall, this is a well‑designed, thoughtfully lit building set that offers strong value, clear instructions, and a satisfying final display—an easy recommendation for fans of winter‑themed builds or anyone looking for a cozy cabin model with integrated lighting.

First off let me just say this was so fun to build, it kept me busy for a couple days when I had the free time to put together. The detail is amazing and the value for money is definitely there. The pieces may be hard to fit together just give it a bit of strength for it to clamp together. Don’t let it stress you out. Some advice for the stickers, they are transfer stickers so when you put them against the spot that’s designated for them make sure to compress the area a little bit before removing the film so the sticker does not break or pull with the film while removing it. For the lights, the batteries do not come with. You will need three AAA batteries. This build is easy to build just takes some time anyone can do it! Definitely have some interest in trying this cabin out!

I have built dozens of LEGO and brick sets, and this one is my favorite so far. I really like the theme and the design, and FUNWHOLE has come a long way in their build structures, particularly in roof design and attachment (some of their earlier sets were seriously flawed in that department). My favorite thing about this set is that it was designed with lighting in mind - something that is usually tacked on as an afterthought. Usually, you have to jam the pieces together and they never quite fit right with lighting wires; however, this set planned for wiring paths and left small gaps to properly route. Really, really like this feature. The cabin is really cool looking, especially with lights. I found one mistake in the instructions (it has you place a 2-bump brown brick under a flat white section of the roof, to help it fit into place around the chimney. This brown placement brick is in the wrong place, but you can quickly figure out where it should go and make the correction. Also, the window section of the back wall is only secured on one end, and this could have been designed better. But overall - excellent, excellent build. I love it.

This was an amazing set! It went together well and gave our 15 year old hours of fun! Having never done a lighted set before, it was a bit challenging for him to understand the lighting instructions, but once he got the hang of it, things went great!

i'm not going to lie it's a can be a bit delicate and fragile but for being 1/4 of the price as a lego it's great the design is better than most legos and instructions are clear and easy to follow

We love Funwhole builds and they have supplanted the brick company that shall not be named for our household. Builds are more fun, more complex, and have more pieces for less money. Totally compatible with nameless brick company. That said, every once in a great awhile there are small misprints in the instructions or wrong pieces. In this case, our bear came with two right hind legs, much to the chagrin of our kids. Not a big deal. I’d say it’s on par with the minor issues you might run into with nameless brick company, too.

This is one of Lumibricks', formerly Funwhole, first sets. It still has stickers and some minor issues with crimping on the lighting set. All that aside, it is still a great build with an amazing price point. This was my first set with lights and was a little intimidated by it in the beginning, but the instructions walk you through adding it in so it isn't complicated at all. All the little details make you feel as if you are truly in a hunting cabin in the woods.

Building this little log cabin was honestly the best part it’s basically like Lego, but with a cozy rustic twist. The pieces snap together in that same satisfying way, so it’s super easy to get into and kind of addictive once you start. It’s simple enough to not be frustrating, but still engaging enough to keep you focused. I found myself fully locked in just building it piece by piece. It’s such a fun little project, and way more meaningful when you see the finished cabin knowing you built it yourself. Pros: • Feels like building Lego (easy and satisfying) • Relaxing, hands-on project • Pieces fit together nicely • Cute, cozy final result Cons: • You’ll want to finish it in one sitting 😅 If you love Lego or anything you can build yourself, this is such a fun buy.

I only started building a couple months ago. I've done 6 to date and so far, this was my favorite build! So detailed inside and out... and the lighting makes it even better. Would definitely recommend this one if you're looking for a super fun build. Everyone that comes in comments on how cute it is.

This set is a MASTERPIECE!! Seriously. I wasn't sure I would have this much fun with a set that wasn't LEGO. It is truly a work of art- challenging and fun. For anyone who is on the fence about FUNWHOLE sets, let this be the review that eases your mind. It surpassed my expectations so much that I bought 2 more sets, and have strayed away from the LEGO store. First off, the packaging is amazing- everything perfectly labeled; crisp and clean boxing. Secondly, the instructions are THE BEST instructions I've had the pleasure of using. Clearly detailed with colours that actually look like the pieces so you won't be tearing your hair out in frustration. The instructions even have pictures on each page that helps you measure the correct piece!!! (See attached pic). This beats LEGO instructions HANDS DOWN! Currently halfway through this build and I CANNOT WAIT till it's complete and lit up. Stay tuned for more pics when I'm finished .
