The box is lovely and looks great. I did notice a smell like other people stated. I recommend placing a dryer sheet or 2 in the box for a couple days before putting your tissues in. I put 2 sheets in mine and just left them in there and put a tissue box in right on top and the smell is gone. The box looks great in my entry way. Really love it.

Well made ……I like that there is a bottom ……my box fit just right…no problem taking tissues out….like the latch on the box….it looks so nice in my powder room…the shine on the box looks rich and gives my room some glow.

I’m one of those households that has tissues in every room. This provides a much more decorative holder in my living room. It’s surprisingly sturdy and looks so much better. I love it.

I ordered several of these decorative tissue box holders in blue/green and the ivory. I returned the blue/green ones as they were an ocean-blue color, not green. The ivory ones are very pretty and look expensive. As others have commented, the boxes do have a slight odor to them, so I left them outside for a few days, added a few dryer sheets and sprayed them with Febreze. There is still a slight odor, which makes the tissues smell. Also, a standard box of tissues is too tall, so you have to take the tissues out, otherwise the box won't close. You can only put about a half of box of tissues into the decorative tissue box. In spite of my "complaints", the decorative tissue box looks better than a tacky cardboard tissue box!

Thought it might look cheap but not at all. I bought for my vanity which is surrounded my mirrors and cosmetic lights mounted in mirror. Needless to say area is very feminine and glitzy. This fits in the area perfectly plus it holds a shallow or a deep box of tissues.
