Outstanding Spot Cleaner – A Game-Changer for Families with Children
I recently purchased the Bissell Little Green Cordless Spot Cleaner, and I have to say, I’m incredibly impressed with its design, functionality, and results. It’s definitely a must-have for families, especially those with young children and toddlers who are constantly making messes. Design and Build Quality: The design of this spot cleaner is sleek and professional. It’s compact, lightweight, and has a high-end feel that gives you confidence in its durability. It’s easy to hold and maneuver, which is great for getting into tight spaces like couch cushions and corners. The overall look is very modern and aesthetically pleasing, which is a bonus if you plan on leaving it out when not in use. Ease of Use: Using the Bissell Little Green is straightforward, but it does take a bit of practice to master. The first time I used it, I tackled some tough spots on my couch (which, as a parent of toddlers, was covered in a mixture of juice, food stains, and various other messes). I initially struggled because I didn’t spray enough of the cleaning solution on the fabric. As a result, the suction didn’t pick up as much of the liquid, and the cleaning didn’t seem as effective. However, after some trial and error, I figured out that the key is to be generous with the spray, especially on heavily soiled areas. Cleaning Effectiveness: The second time I used the cleaner (the next day), I made sure to thoroughly wet the fabric before using the suction. When I did this, the results were phenomenal. I could actually see the dirt and stains being lifted out of the fabric, and the couch looked nearly brand new by the time I was finished. The suction power is good, but it really shines when you apply the right amount of cleaning solution and use multiple passes over the heavily soiled areas. This process definitely requires a bit of patience, but once you get the hang of it, the cleaner works like a charm. Battery Life and Coverage: The battery life on a full charge is impressive. I was able to clean two L-shaped couches completely (seating areas, not the back or armrests) on a single charge, and the machine was still going strong when I finished. If you’re planning to clean a full couch—seat, back, and armrests—I’d recommend charging the unit fully for each couch to ensure you have enough juice. It’s not the longest-lasting battery, but it’s more than adequate for typical spot-cleaning tasks. Maintenance and Cleaning the Unit: Cleaning the Bissell Little Green after use is incredibly easy. The tank is simple to empty, and the nozzle is easy to rinse. There’s no complicated maintenance required, which is a huge plus. The fact that the unit is cordless also makes it very convenient to use, as you don’t have to worry about cords getting in the way. Critical Notes: • Initial Learning Curve: As mentioned, the learning curve is a little steep when you first use it. If you don’t spray enough solution or don’t let the suction do its job properly, the results won’t be as good as they could be. It’s important to be generous with the cleaning solution and use a methodical approach, especially for stubborn stains. • Battery Life: While the battery life is decent, I wouldn’t expect it to last for extensive cleaning of multiple pieces of furniture in one go. If you need to clean a whole couch (including the back and armrests), you’ll likely need to recharge in between. Final Thoughts: Overall, the Bissell Little Green Cordless Spot Cleaner is an outstanding product. Once you get the hang of it, it provides incredible results. I was honestly shocked at how clean my couch looked after using it. It’s definitely worth the investment, especially if you have children or pets who frequently make messes on your furniture. Yes, it’s a bit pricey, particularly for the cordless version, but it’s absolutely worth every penny. Plus, Bissell offers a three-year warranty, which adds extra peace of mind. If you’re on the fence, I highly recommend giving it a try. It’s a game-changer for keeping your furniture looking fresh and clean.

This machine is a beast!
My first job with this little machine was asking way too much (Queen size mattress and about a standard crib amount of floor space). I will be honest it took about 14-16 days between waiting for charges and allowing chemicals to set (and life). I also ran the machine on the max setting which does cut down power time to around 30 minutes with a 2 hour recharge. It. Was. Worth. IT. My kiddo is G-tube fed and medically complex. Between bodily fluids and formula spills, my carpet is constantly dirty. I also have two other kids 6 and 2 with a beagle mix. It's only a matter of time before someone spills something somewhere or a bag leaks overnight. The latter leads to the above job. Super bad spill because it leaked overnight and there was probably 250-500 ml (8-17oz) of formula in my carpet. YIKES! Of course, I initially tried cleaning it with paper towels and cleaner but, due to the location I didn't realize how big the spill was until we had a smell. That is when I bought this machine and figured while I'm at it, I'd clean my mattress too! I used the Oxiclean pet stain remover stuff and it worked like a charm, went through two nearly three bottles of it as well as a bottle of professional spot remover spray but this little machine proved its worth! My carpet is more than clean (no smell!) and the mattress is visibly lighter, most of the stains are either gone or severely faded (we're talking 4 year old staining here). We have a nurse for my complex kiddo and because of this project she was actually inspired to get a coffee stain out of her mattress with this machine. Yes it was time consuming, and yes there's much better machines out there for this large of a project. However, I bought this as a spot cleaner for when we do have a leak or spill I can quickly suck it up and take care of it and it is PERFECT for that. My kiddo managed to cause a leak recently after the big clean and it soaked it up in one go. The only thing I don't like is that you cannot run it with it plugged into the wall, (certainly would have cut the time down!) I feel that's a big failure on Bissell's part however it's not a deal breaker. Keep it charged and ready to go. It's small, portable and easy to clean out for a decent price! For its intended purpose, it IS a machine everyone should have. The next project is my van once the weather warms! I'm excited to take on the carpet!

Junk. Poor quality. Do not buy.
I bought it knowing that being battery powered, it probably doesn't have the greatest runtime and suction power may be lacking a bit. But I bought it for a very specific use; pet accidents. You are not going to clean an entire car or sofa and love seat all at once with this thing. You get 20-30 minutes of run time tops. And it takes several hours to charge. Its much like a stick vacuum, its for the little jobs, not your whole house. I use it less than once a month, for about 5 minutes at a time. I loved the convenience of it being cordless. I've owned it for about a year and a half. It worked perfect. Until today. I got it out and was surprised to see the fresh water tank empty (I almost never completely empty it). So I filled the tank and put it back on. It immediately started leaking out the bottom of the machine. I also realized the tank was empty because the fresh water that I had left in it leaked on the shelf it was on and ruined it. I spoke to the warranty department and I'm sending it in for a replacement but my warranty will end in a few months and I have serious doubts the new one will last any longer. This thing is a nice idea but the build quality is bad. I really regret buying it and wish I had just stuck with my corded one, it was probably 10 years old or more and still worked perfect, I just hated the hassle of finding an outlet to plug it into. Also, to the point everyone makes about poor suction, this unit exhausts air out the bottom. You basically need to hold it in the air while using it for it to have proper air flow. Terrible design flaw. When you hold it up off the ground, suction is actually surprisingly good. I absolutely would not buy this again and I regret my purchase.

Makes cleaning easy
I love this thing to pieces. The suction power is great, and the noise level is not that bad. It’s a little quieter when compared to my vacuum and dog blow dryer. The size is good; I can store it away without it taking up too much space. It helps leave my car and carpet smelling fresh. The pick-up speed is good, depending on the stain. For greasy stains, I have to make a few passes. For pet waste, I also make a few passes, but that’s just me. I have two gripes though. 1.) Cleaning the hose sucks, but it’s manageable. 2.) If you leave the container on the machine with any water in it, it will leak.

I already know this is better than my corded Little Green
Update after having used this a few times: It works well enough, I do wish there was a portable battery that could be switched out as the life doesn’t last too long though it hasn’t run out of charge during use just yet. The dirty tank doesn’t fill as effectively as the corded version and when the machine powers off, I’ve noticed I have to depress the trigger to release the pent up water still inside the machine. When taking parts off to clean, I learned the hard way this needs to be done in the sink. Lots more leakage than the corded version, but I don’t notice it during use, there’s just a lot of water leftover after use (likely due to the dirty container not filling up as effectively as it should). These are minor complaints though. It works as it should and I still think this will replace my corded Little Green quite effectively. —— Have I used this yet? No Do I already like it better than the Little Green I’ve had for two years? Yes How could I know this already? 1) the first thing I noticed was how much easier this thing is to carry around. Yes, it’s empty but comparatively even with both machines empty, this one is far less precarious which means I will use it more often. The lack of cord will also help with this, knowing I don’t have to worry about the placement of the cord and the raveling and unraveling. 2) The cleaning attachment cover is REMOVABLE. This is the reason I’m writing this review before I even use this. This is something I have wished for since I got my first upholstery cleaner. Especially having pets, the first time I used the Little Green, I knew those hairs would be there forever no matter how hard I tried to clean the attachment. Why all Bissell’s carpet cleaning attachments aren’t like this is beyond me 3) having read the instructions, it also doesn’t appear that this cleaner requires hot water. 4) cleaning the actual device appears to be far less involved than with the corded version, see point #2, but also the dirty bin has a lid and is not the same assembly as the corded version, so it needs only to be removed, rinsed out, and the lid re-attached. The hose is also removable, so it has a better chance of actually drying unlike the corded version as well. I will update my review if this performs any differently than I expect, but I doubt this will be much different in outcome than the Little Green corded I rarely have the gumption to work with and will no doubt replace it entirely.

Magic Machine
I LOVE this machine! 100/10 stars (6ish month review) Living in an apartment with carpet, two pets, and little family members who visit often, accidents are pretty much guaranteed—whether it’s a pet mess, a kid wetting the bed, or a random spill. This machine has strong suction, isn’t too loud, and is super easy to clean out. The battery life could be a little longer, but it charges fairly quickly, so it’s not a major issue. The first unit I received had a defective sprayer, but it was replaced quickly and easily with no hassle. I’ve been using the replacement for about six months now, and it’s worked perfectly with zero issues. This machine has saved me so much time, stress, and effort. I’ve used it on carpet, upholstery, couches, and even stubborn, mysterious mattress stains—which disappeared like magic. I’ve definitely gotten my money’s worth! Would recommend :)

Good product, minor issues, get the corded version if possible
Product works well and is effective at cleaning even really tough stains set heavily into upholstery. The battery lasts for barely 30 minutes on a full charge for persistent use. The connection of the hose and the main unit needs to be incredibly snug for the sprayer to work properly mine barely has a imperfect fit and will not spray unless I hold the hose connection down. May be a manufacturing defect on my unit in particular. Great product if you need to take it to a place where you have no power connection, for instance your car. However if you're going to use this in your home or to clean a whole couch, definitely get the corded version.

Overall not too bad of a product.
Works amazing. Looks amazing. Built very well. Easy to carry, but wrapping the hose around the product can be tricky sometimes, but isn't too bad of an issue. Some parts don't dry as quickly once take them off and wash them, but again doesn't effect the amount of cleanliness it does. Just make sure you do take the things off you need to clean, everytime you use it. Battery does take longer to charge fully than you get to use it, but I mean not a deal breaker for me though. Overall I say it's the value for the money if you're using it for short amounts of time though.
