Tried using this cutting pen but my experience did not go well. It seemed like the machine was not heating up in a timely manner. Had to send back because our styrofoam was to thick and the machine was not keeping up. I do believe that if we were using it for smaller projects that it would work good.

I got this to help break down excess Styrofoam so I can condesnse it and repurpose some of it. It heats up pretty quickly. It has a comfortable grip. It has a few different tips to cut through various sizes and shapes and thicknesses. I like that it can be used as both a tool for crafting and convince. It's compact enough to store in a small drawer.
