Gr8 seller love the fridge freezer

Bought for my mum and dad after their old one broke down...beautiful stylish fridge freezer and complements the kitchen perfectly, inside is very spacious and I would 100% recommend this to anyone.

We bought the 2 door version of this which is the same technology. We bought this appliance 14 months ago. It has made odd noises and over or under cooled since pretty much the day we got it. Engineers have been out 4 times since. They have replaced parts, and told us we open the door too often! Its a big fridge, we are a family of 5, are we supposed to just admire it from a distance?! Finally on Sunday the thing went boom, were talking booms, crackles, hissing and smoke. Luckily we were in to pull the plug and after a few minutes it calmed down. I dread to think what would have happened if we werent in or worse, in bed. We arent the only ones looking at the reviews on all variations of this fridge. Anyway, 2 hours it took us to get through to a customer service agent who booked us an engineers appointment nearly 2 weeks later to "have a look". They werent concerned about the fact they caused us risk or that they were leaving a young family with no fridge freezer for at least 2 weeks. I am appalled by this company and its appliance and implore any of you looking to buy this product, DON'T. For those of you that have had problems, I have made a report to trading standards and advise you to do the same.

Well i was rather surprised to read all the other reviews saying how terrible this was. I intended to write a review saying it was the best fridge freezer i have ever had!UPDATE - Had it a year now, never had any reliability problems, has not blown up, has not frosted up, working great...... Hope it keeps working!As to design and practicality. I think it is brilliant, my wife loves it and she is only 5 foot 4. I am 5ft 8. It is quite tall and rather deep. At 70cms wide it is the same width as our last fridge freezer, at least an inch higher and seems a couple of inches deeperThe two fridge doors instead of 1 see great, we have put all the ready access items such as milk for tea in the right hand doorEDIT - When i first reviewed this I said the ice tray in the top freezer draw caused very little problems. Had it longer now and have to say the ice tray is a stupid design, It probably knocks out 20-25% of the usable space in the top draw, and the freezer compartment is not large enough to afford a loss llike that. I have taken the ice tray out and that helps.The bottom draw is pretty deep and rather cleverly comes with a kind of recessed shelf/top on top of it that around 3 inches deep and allows you to put things like iced lollies etc on top of the draw, I have a 1 litre tub of ice cream on it at the moment, whilst i store all my potato based products and other vegetables underneath it.Having proper heavy duty pull out draws is much better than the more traditional door with flimsy portable draws inside you then pull out.We rather like it being black as well, i think it is an optical illusion but it looks bigger than a silver/white one.One of the main reasons we dumped our old fridge freezer was that the freezer door did not shut properly. You had to very carefully push it closed, if you just slammed it without checking it had a tendency to stay open half an inch. During the night it would then defrost and several hours AFTER it had totally defrosted everything a bell would chime to tell you everything was ruined. Great! This happened several times and I put a velcro fastening on the door as an extra reminder to make sure it shut properly.As such i was very pleased to find on the new one that the freezer drawers "Snap shut" when you get close to having closed them, the likelihood of leaving a draw half an inch out is pretty remote. Likewise the fridge doors close pretty solidly too.I know the fridge rings a chime after a couple of minutes if you leave the door open as it did this when we were loading it up brand new.No idea if the freezer does this as i have not left the doors open yet!!So apart from the long term reliability issues which i can't comment on yet i think it is by far the best fridge freezer we have ever had. Must say i bought it from currys on the easter weekend and got it on special offer for less than £470 i think including delivery though i paid an extra £15 to have the old one removed.Very small point that may be easy to overlook. This fridge freezer is 70cms wide and comes very well packaged in polystyrene. We could not get it through the kitchen, in the end we had to remove all the packaging AND take the kitchen door off to get it in. So don't just measure the hole to make sure it will fit, measure your doors to make sure it will fit. We tried turning it sideways but because it is a deep unit with big handles this was even worse.

Very happy with this purchase. Asif the seller was friendly and communications easy. The delivery men, Raj and Mo did a good job and we were also very happy with them. Highly recommended both seller and delivery men!
