Good oil in good form even if "chewable" is a bit of a stretch
This is a high quality fish oil and arrived FRESH. I didn't smell any fishiness in the oil inside the softgels. Fishy smell is a sign of oxidation which reduces the quality of fish oil, so if you check a supplement and you pick up that smell don't waste your time. It's gone bad and isn't doing you any good. This is far more important a test of fish oil than the numbers on the side of the bottle and how your favorite magazine rated it. Even a good fish oil can be stored improperly or just for too long and have gone bad by the time you take it home. Find a good brand and a good source and stick with both! The bottle indicates the softgels compare to liquid fish oil at 5 softgels to 1 tsp liquid. This is not a bad dosage for a softgel (fairly standard). More importantly, they are very easy to swallow. Other softgels I've taken felt like horse pills. I would much rather take 5 of these than 3 or 4 that were uncomfortable to swallow. You could make a softgel so huge that it had a full teaspoon of oil in it but who would want to swallow that?? I like these softgels because they are easy to swallow.Speaking of how many softgels it takes to equal liquid, don't forget fish oil should be taken at least twice during the day. If you take 2 or 3 after breakfast and 2 or 3 after dinner (total of 5 though) then you are getting more benefit than if you take 1 tsp of liquid at once because there is EPA/DHA in your system throughout the day. You could split that teaspoon, but by the time you wash up etc it is probably no more convenient than just taking a couple of these. The bottom line is really personal preference. That's why both forms are successful.A big reason I ordered this specific bottle (in addition to knowing the brand is quality) is because they are marketed as being chewable. I thought this would be great for my wife (who hasn't been downing vitamin pills since a kid so she doesn't take them quite as easily) and for the little one. Well I bit into one not totally expecting a Flintstone vitamin experience but I figured it would at least chew up easily. Instead, first the softgel popped and the oil inside burst out. This much was fine. The oil doesn't feel as, well, oily as many liquids taken off a spoon do, there's no fishy taste, and the orange flavor is very subtle (in a good way). But the softgel itself was too chewy, like it wanted to fight back a little bit. What basically happened is I swallowed the oil on its own and then the softgel in little different form than it was after the first bite ruptured it. So if you're thinking this may be easier for kids then yeah it probably is, but be careful not to oversell the "chewable" aspect because it is a bit of a stretch when kids are used cheap vitamins modeled after candy. I still think it's great that they are "chewable" but be aware they do not crumble in your mouth. Please leave any questions for me in the comments and I'd be happy to provide more info. I hope this is helpful!

QUALITY QUALITY QUALITY! Large but burp less
I read about these due to a recommendation on an Instagram account. The person was explaining the difference in the amount of the omega-3 fatty acids, the EPA, the DHA compared to other fish oil pills, so I did my research and that is absolutely what sets these apart from the rest. Very very good quality of these fish oil pills and now that I’ve been taking them I’ve already purchased a second bottle and I am having my husband start taking them as well. It says it has a mild orange natural flavor which I don’t taste. However, the pills are very large, but I don’t have a problem taking them And another big perk of these is that they are burp less. I absolutely hate that nasty fish burping flavor with a lot of other types of pills like this. Absolutely a quality product that I would highly recommend.

Possibly best available fish oil capsules
These fish oil capsules are very good compared to the 3 or 4 other brands I've tried. Better than Costco brand too. These were recommended to me by a friend that I consider knowledgeable on which brands are most pure. They have the least fish taste of any I've had. By that I mean that 95% of the time, I taste no fish taste and do not have fish burps. I have some mild ongoing stomach problems that, when it acts up, I can have a very mild fish taste -- again, very rarely. The price is reasonable compared to others. Below average from what I saw last time I did a comparison. They might exaggerate a little when saying chewable. You can chew them, but I wouldn't really recommend it. The product is still fish oil, even if the orange flavoring does help a lot. And as some reviewers complain, chewing does leave you with the rubbery coating to deal with. Some one star reviews talk about gagging on fish flavor and capsules the size of a truck. Just not so. If those people are very very sensitive to fish taste or struggle with normal vitamins, maybe they had trouble. These are very normal sized and probably the least fishy flavored fish oil out there. So I'm saying, if you need to take fish oil, this is your answer. Just don't expect a piece of candy.Storing them in the refrigerator further reduces the rare fishy taste and fish burps.

Burp-free, does not 'repeat' on you, no fishy aftertaste or smell, easy to swallow
No fishy burping, or repeating....no fishy smell. High quality. Easy to swallow, 700 mg with only 2 capsules.Reasonably priced. Will buy again, and recommend.

Been using for 6 months
I gave it a rating of 4 because who knows if fish oil really works. But this fish oil is one of the top 10 when I Googled fish oil about 6 months ago. I don't notice a difference from other fish oils I've used. I bought the large jar with an attached small jar - total 150 capsules breaking down to about $.09/capsule. Value-wise, that's good. No side issues with flavor, fishy odor or taste. It is a large capsule, but we've had no problem with that.

Health Nut
One of the best fish oils on the market as per Dr Peter Attia. Only need 2 a day. Many others require up to 3 times that!

Great Product! Try it.
I like this product, it does the job, I travel so I take them on the road with me, very convenient. Since I cannot take the oil bottle with me. Thank you.

These a really good!
My internist recommended the Carlson omega-3 fish oil capsules. I take other vitamins and have a healthy diet, so I was skeptical of buying additional supplements. However, over the past six months, after taking these capsules, I have noticed an improvement in my day to day functioning on all levels. I know there may be a “mind over matter” component, but I do think these have helped.
