I read the reviews before I made this purchase. I read that some didn't like the color, one said the product smelled bad, the product dried their lips, and there were other negative comments. I love the color, it does not dry my lips, and it does not smell bad. My favorite things are the color and that the product stays on my lips and doesn't transfer to cups or glasses. I will be purchasing this product again.

It definitely has shimmer and stays on without staining your lips. The color does vary a little bit from the picture that shown. Mine what's supposed to be a pink reddish color and it looks more like a dark coral. The bad part of it is the smell of it is terrible. I can't even describe the smell. My best guess would be maybe a chemical smell. If your nose is hypersensitive like mine, it's tough to wear, because of the odor. I do notice that the smell does fade out a little bit, the longer you wear it.

Its ok doesn't stay on for very long. Very pretty color and having the liner in same container is nice.

I was excited to see such a lovely shade of mauve online.. And impulsively (without reading reviews!) I ordered #16. It arrived, and as soon as I opened it I could see the color isn't true mauve. As another reviewer mentioned, it's more coral/with orange undertones which make my teeth look yellow (ick). However, it does appear metallic once applied. And stayed on as advertised. Just disappointed since the color is not the same as it appears on the model.

Perfect color for me! I have a hard time finding lipstick colors I like. I don't want anything too brown or too red, and pinks just look wrong. This is a perfect mid rust tone, with just a bit of shine. Doesn't seem too likely to be gone in an hour, like many lipsticks. Not greasy, more like a stain to me. I love it.

UPDATE 12/9/2025: Everything below was true LESS THAN 2 MONTHS AGO! Today my lip liner broke off & it will not go back in and stay put! TOO MUCH $$$ FOR JUNK AND I HAD TO PAY EXTRA SHIPPING! Perfect for active older women! I LOVE everything about this combo! The lip liner is soft and moist. It is forgiving and after that it stays where I put it! The liner is very easy to apply! Doesn't drag across your lips! The lipstick did not run/bleed into my wrinkles because the liner is very high quality! Everything stayed where it belonged on my 78 yo lips! The color lasted over 8 hours which is a long time for a smoker & hot tea drinker! There was still a bit of lipstick & most of the lip liner was still where I put it! After everything dries you don't get any transfers to a glass, someone's cheek or clothes! It won't stain anything! I LOVE the length of this combo, it fits right in my pants pocket! I ordered the Mauve which is a bit Pinkish BUT I wouldn't trade it for anything! It's really a pretty color which matches what I see on my laptop screen! I recommend this to all ladies no matter what the age! Hope my honest review helps you!

Applying this lip gloss/liner is easy. It goes on smooth and feels cool, it has a fantastic metallic shine—the metallic sheen really is incredible— but the gloss tingles (this happens a lot with so-called lip plumpers which often contain bee venom to give that ‘bee-stung’ quality to lips, but this gloss doesn’t say it’s a ‘lip plumper’) and, personally, I don’t view that quality as a positive. The concept of having lip color and complementary liner in opposite ends of the gloss tube is terrific—especially for people like me who always forget about lip liner! Everything about this gloss ought to be great, but it is incredibly drying on the lips (and I will say that this is not uncommon, across brands these days for some reason). Within less than two minutes after applying, I had to retreat to the bathroom and clean it off my lips. I didn’t even reapply because from just that brief exposure my lips were painfully dry. When I applied the gloss and went to the store, a ten-minute trip, I glanced in the rear view mirror halfway to the store, and all the gloss was gone, leaving only my terribly dry lips to remind me that I had once had shiny lip gloss on them! The product wasn’t on long enough to judge smudge resistance or whether it would ‘stay on’ after eating or drinking, though since it didn’t stay on period, I doubt it would perform any better on a glass or on clothing. I also doubt its smudge resistance given how easily it came off everywhere else!
