First Base Contemporary Faux Leather Manual Reclining Sofa, Gray

This was the sofa that we were looking for, but I was, admittedly, nervous about ordering a sofa through Amazon. We actually went to a local Ashley store, where they had the same sofa, just to sit on it and try it out. The "discount" price that the brick and mortar store showed was $1500! The price online on Amazon was under $1100, with free delivery! The sofa did arrive in one huge box, which did not fit through our doorway, but the delivery professionals were good enough to bring the sofa into the house after we unboxed it. Set up literally took seconds, with the backs clicking into place. The sofa is solid, high quality, and we could not be more satisfied with our purchase!

I was a little concerned about ordering this couch on Amazon, but was pleasantly surprised. It looks great and is comfortable. It was listed as dark gray, but looks more brown to me. This couch arrived fully assembled. We just had to carry it inside. It's pretty heavy, but we were glad we didn't have to assemble it. Some of the reviews had me a little worried, but this was a great deal for a nice couch.

The measurements seem like it'd be a nice comfy couch, it's not. It's hard and you will feel like a giant in this couch, it's so small. My dog didn't even like it and he'll sleep anywhere

Comfortable, great quality, easy to put together!

The couch arrived in a large cardboard box with the backs of the seats off. This made it very easy to move and get in my bedroom through a door which is only 28 inches wide so if getting it through your house is a concern don't worry. Getting the backs on took a total of 3 minutes max. No tools you just slide it on and it clicks into place its isn't rocket science. I was a little worried about the size of the couch based off of the reviews saying that a 5'8 person felt like a giant in it and that it is too small. IDK what kind of sofas these people are used to but I am a 6'2 400lbs dude and its plenty tall and wide for me. When fully reclined the leg rest reaches just below my ankle so if I bend my leg even a fraction of a degree I can have my feet resting on it with no issue. Overall the couch is great and I'm not sure if the people that wrote the negative reviews even got the same couch. The only one I do agree with is the one involving the color. They are right that the couch isn't fully grey it's more of a slate color with a little bit of a brown hue so if you want fully grey that's not what this is. That being said I like the color so not much of a complaint there. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a couch to put in a bedroom or man cave.

We got this for an outstanding price for Black Friday. Not only did it arrive to us sooner than estimated, but it was super easy to put together. Just slip the back cushions on, and hear them snap into place. Just like how our stand alone recliners were, that we gotta couple of years ago. It is stiff, but it's brand new and that's expected. I am sure it will be broken in with use, and in time. So far, we are not regretting our purchase. Can't beat the extremely discounted price we paid for a couch that also reclines.

Cushions too firm and the backrest seems partially reclined in the upright position. Feels like I keep sliding off of the seat. Seems well made and everything function smooth, quiet.

This couch is made in Vietnam from poor quality materials. It requires assembly sliding 3 seat cushions inside the main body of the couch and the mechanism is not properly made. My dad and I tried for several hours following instructions to push it in or sliding in so the seats would. It didn't work, we will try again today and will have few people coming to our house to see if they could make it work otherwise the couch is defective and will have to be returned. I deeply regret buying it and most definitely won't recommend buying it
