I dont use dye in my feeder.** A: Yes. We do not use any dye in either of our 2 feeders, and the hummingbirds just love eating (drinking?) from them! We have 2 and they are so pretty and easy to clean, which is very important to prevent illness in our little winged friends! We have seen over 10 birds on one feeder at a given time. **Q: is the RED glass actually red IN glass or red coating ON glass?** A: It is red coating over glass. I wouldn't know except that the coating is wearing off a bit where it scews in to the feeder. **Q: Is a replacement glass part available?** A: Can you buy replacement bottoms? The flowers have faded and is not attracting the hummers. I am bought a cheap plastic feeder so I don't have the hummers leave me entirely. **Q: Is the perch removable?** A: Let me answer in two part as the answer is YES and NO. 1. For filling the feeder YES the perch and the feeding holes component do unscrew from the jar for filling. But if you are asking if the perch can be removed, just to have it removed ... 2. NO. The bottom of the 3 pieces (the perch) needs to be screwed into the jar with the feeder holes part just being the in-between-component. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A gathering place for dozens of hummers *by W***N on August 25, 2025* This was first year for this brand. End of season now and finish looks new except for one of two I have shown a little rust at the inner side connection point for the flowers. Most importantly though, the hummingbirds love it. Wide mouth jars hold almost a quart and are easy to fill. Maintenance in general is easy. Seems to draw more bees than in the past. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Attracts hummingbirds *by B***H on September 3, 2025* Really great hummingbird feeder, I was specifically looking for a feeder with a wide mouth for easy cleaning, the perch going all the way around is an added bonus. I love getting to see the hummingbirds taking a rest on the feeder. This is a great size so nectar doesn’t go to waste, it attracts the hummingbirds well however I do wish it had an option for red glass. It is easy to put together and take apart for cleaning. Be carful hanging it up as it can leak out the holes if you tilt it too much. This is a great purchase priced well. I will slowly convert all my feeders to this one. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hummingbird feeder *by L***T on August 7, 2025* This is all metal, very sturdy, pretty, worth the purchase --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/56606086-mason-jar-hummingbird-feeder-glass-hummingbird-feeders-for-outdoors-5](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/56606086-mason-jar-hummingbird-feeder-glass-hummingbird-feeders-for-outdoors-5) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-11-04*
