I bought these because I was looking to replace the plastic bowls my husband wanted to keep for bringing dishes to parties. I didn't want to have plastic leaching into the food or the arguments when he puts the cheap plastic bowls on the bottom rack of the dishwasher. The cost of these stainless bowls was the reason I chose them, and I was expecting them to be somewhat flimsy and low quality. They are definitely thin, but they feel like as long as I don't thrash them around like a bull in a china shop, they will stay in good shape for a long time. My initial order was for 2 sets, and I was so happy with them that I actually bought 2 more sets. The cost is low enough on them that I won't really mind if I bring a dish to a party and don't get it back, and I will feel better about my environmental impact, as it won't just end up in the trash. I would probably buy higher quality bowls for use with power kitchen gadgets, but for what I wanted them for, they are absolutely perfect.

So I bought these about a year ago and they've been great! As far as quality there're what you expect for the price, definitely are not the most high-end, but not the worst either. They look nice and they stack all into each other so storage it takes up virtually none.

1. They are not very deep. If purchasing, double check the depth before buying. 2. They are pretty thin. feels like they will dent easily. Even with those two things, I am still keeping.

I've always had a couple of these around and they are sturdy and quick clean up. Now, I have a set so I can find more uses. I also like the rounded bottom because it's easier to mix items with a rubber spatula without having to dig stuff like dough out of the edges.

Love these bowls! Very nice set for the price. They are a little thinner,but mine have not dented with normal use. Still bright and shiny after a lot of mixing!

A product I didn't know I needed till I had it. Sturdy stainless steel, all nest tidily. Have got rid of most other bowls as I use these all the time. I use them for making food, taking peelings to the compost, serving salads, washing up (on holiday), pet feeding etc etc. Because they're metal, robust, unbreakable and very easy to wash they can be used for so much more than just cake making.

product exactly as I expected ie stainless steel mixing bowls easy to clean, similar to what I already use. The nested bowls are hard to find retail. They all seem to be plastic or sold as an individual largish bowl
