In terms of scale and detail of the sculpt, I feel as though this figure is comparable to Schleich Eldrador figures - in fact, Schleich offers exactly this figure with its tail in a different position. This Momoplay version isn't much less expensive, and I'm somewhat disappointed with its paint and balance. I think this one is OK if you're shopping for a figure to modify or one for children to play with, but as a display piece, it falls a little bit short.The balance of this figure is very tricky. You can't set it down with both back hooves touching the ground or it immediately topples over. It only balances when supported by its raised right front hoof, and even then, it is tilted awkwardly. On the figure I received, neither eye is painted quite right, and its left eye has only a single thin line applied. Its right side also has several streaks where the dry-brushing of the lava rock details missed the mark and was sent on its way as-is. None of this is likely to matter much to kids, but it does make it less enjoyable for grumpy old adults like myself.

The plastic seems thick, like it will withstand some degree of rough play. (Of course I wouldn't recommend throwing it around or stepping on it, but that goes for any plastic toy.) The colors are vivid and it has a lot of detail. It's also a good size for playing with it with action figures. It also is a unique monster figure that would be great for use in a sand tray therapy room. I didn't have any problem getting mine to stand up on a flat surface and I feel the details on the one I received are totally sufficient for use as a toy or a sand tray figure.One thing I do want to make sure people notice before buying is that the bull seems to be "anatomically correct" (that part isn't particularly detailed, but it stands out due to the size). You can actually see it in the photos, but I didn't notice before lol. So if that's something you aren't comfortable with, or you're gifting it to someone who may not be comfortable with it, that's something to be aware of.
