Sit and spin
My older granddaughter was jealous of her younger sibling who has a sit and spin. She absolutely loves this one that she can use!

Great toy. My niece loves it.
Great toy and feels like a quality product. My only complaint is after a few weeks it gets a little wobbly and needs to be tightened. Which is not a big deal but I could not give it 5 stars. FYI. She didn’t care when it was wobbly. It bothered me more than her.

OK but not amazing. Couple design issues to fix.
The pictures in the listing look amazing. Pulling it out of the box it looks cute and amazing. Putting it together there's a couple issues that knock this down to 2.5 or 3 star item. #1 The disc/base doesn't quite turn freely, it sort of catches and grinds like the bearing are bad? 20mo old boy is able to make it spin but barely. #2 The screw that enters the bottom to attach the post doesn't recess into the base so I have a metal screw head trying to scratch up the wood floor. #3 The post in the middle is wood with a notch at the top and bottom that slots into place and is held in by a single screw on each end. Unfortunately the receiving hole in the base is bigger than the pole so it is not a firm fit it wobbles and spins and just after 5 min of baby playing on this I had to tighten the bottom screw. The hand grip still wobbles and I.can hear the wood splintering on wood sound in the bas as the baby plays. I feel theres a short timer counting down on the pole and hand grip snapping off. For $80 the design needs a metal pole with a better system of bolting to the hand grip and base. I will have to put in some generous serving of wood glue to secure the bottom post but I'm still concerned about scratching up the floor so maybe I'll take the bolt off and recess the hold slightly so the bolt can sink in another millimeters or Two and not be rubbing the floor. If this was an item that was being sold at a farmers market or swap meet for $50 as handmade then these issues would be expected. $80 on Amazon needs a higher quality. I did like that the ad uses actual images of a baby using the toy. Not like SO MANY others that are cut and paste photoshop to make the toy look huge when it's tiny. THIS SIt and Spin is a very good size!Just fix the grinding catching spinner, the bolt that can scratch the floor and the mismatched post/socket sizes that cause an wobbles and this will be an amazing $80 hot item.If you have multiple tools making these parts the hole/socket mismatch could be caused by one tool using new drill bits and another tool using worn bits or a bit made it into use for drilling that base that is 1mm too big? I would possibly toss the drill bits being used and replace with ALL NEW that you know are identical then periodically tossing all used drill bits and replacing with new identical to maintain uniformity. The was also a 1.5 inch missing sliver of wood on the central area where baby sits so I had to hit it with sand paper for 10 seconds to remove the little sharp pokey edge.I'm not bashing this toy it just needs slight design tweaks or Quality Assurance of the parts fitting before it ships. Please strongly consider a metal bar for the pole. It might add a few dollars to the manufacturing cost but it will make the toy magnitudes stronger.

Awesome sit and spin toy, needs specific installation for best results.
This is an amazing sit-and-spin toy for toddlers and young kids. It is less suitable for larger kids and adults due to the slim center post that holds the wheel at the top, as they will easily strip the screws holding the post, causing the post to become loose, or the post can separate entirely. This is not a knock on this item in any way, but this toy should be used by kids who are not stronger than the toy.To maximize the enjoyment of this wonderful toy, add wood glue to each screw you install into the item, wipe all excess glue from the surface, then allow it to dry and cure completely before use. This will lock the screws in place, keeping them from moving and eventually reaming out the pre-drilled hole. The screw on the bottom of the unit has the propensity to not install flush or can work its way out of the pre-drilled hole. Wood glue will lock this screw in place as well, make sure that this screw is fully inserted to flush when installing. Again, allow the glue 24-48 hours to dry and cure to fill the holes completely before using. Once your child grows a bit, it will be time for some larger riding toys best suited for their age, weight and disposition.

So unhappy
My children were really excited to have their own sit and spin, as they had used one in other places before. The assembly was simple, with just a few screws to put in. However, within 30 minutes of playing with it, the screws stripped through the wood, making it impossible to secure the handle to the base. Initially, I noticed that the handle kept getting loose and I had to tighten the bottom often. Now, I am going to try using Gorilla Wood Glue to see if it will hold, though I am not confident in its effectiveness. I'm disappointed with this product and cannot give it a positive review.

Room for improvement
I’m so torn about this because there are so many amazing aspects, but there are a couple areas that need to be tweaked to be usable.I love that it’s made of wood, and that it can support adults, I sat on this with my toddler and was able to use it! I was shocked. I like the simplicity of the design and the colors. The flaws are in its sturdiness. No matter how tight I screwed the bolts of the main pole it just wouldn’t attach firmly, it wiggled a little no matter what. And then, after being used maybe 4 times, the whole handle just pulled apart from the base. If you are a handy person I’m sure there is a way to more securely attach it, but considering the price point of this, I was expecting a lot more. Sadly very disappointed about that. (I also experienced the same issue that other reviewers commented on about the screw at the bottom not being flush with the base and so it digs into the floor).

Will leave your head spinning!
A classic. Much better than any form plastic version of the same. The wood body of this sit-and-spin is solid and sturdy. Easily assembled, just a wheel at the top attached to the base with a dowel down rod, things can spin out of control quickly! Primary colors around the outer edge of the base, along with a discreet ring of the same located at the interior of the top, contribute to a welcomed presence that borders on being decor. Also, it's handy when not in use. In addition to looking nice, the base of the whole thing does double duty as a Lazy Susan, serving up different things as it's turned. So, with animal figurines, for instance, lining the outside edge of the base it's easy to work through “which one is the [zebra, giraffe, tiger, cow,...?” Which might be educational, sure, but it's definitely fun!
