It was tedious and took a long time (over the course of a week about 15-18 hours), but I loved the project and happy with the results. I have bad arthritis in my hands so it took me a while to do everything, but I really enjoy the final product. I used gorilla glue gel as the adhesive. Used about a half of the bottle. I love that this came with the clear case, it makes such a difference. But, warning: don't touch the case until you clean all glue off of your hands or your finger prints stay on the case and they don't clean off without scratching it. I wasn't patient enough to wait and wasnt really thinking, but learned the hard way! light touch pad doesn't work at all for me, the lights also cycle off and on every minute or so and I have no idea how to fix that and they are a pain to turn on since the panel is on the bottom of the nook

I've been amazed at how I've learned a lot from doing several kits. Not a perfect job for me, only got 3 of the lights working, and couldn't activate the sensor. But I love it.

Beautiful finished product, but getting there required much work. Extremely detailed. Everything has to be put together by gluing paper to wood, a lot of cutting out with the paper decals. The instruction manual is beautifully done and easy to understand; it's just a very intense build and required lots of patience and time. This would not be a project for beginners. The kit was beautifully designed and would make an awesome gift. Overall, this is a 5***** kit.

I love this adorable book nook. The only question I have is when I turn on the on/off switch it will flicker off then go back on. Even though I was careful it’s possible during assembling a wire came loose.It would be impossible to rewire the finished product.But, even so, I give a five star to the cleverness of the design.
