The Tone-o-Matic switch is kind of funky and I only use one setting. It's a nice guitar but you might be better off with a Tele or Strat **Q: is it good for metal? or is it just a heavy rock guitar? i'm okay with either one.** A: It's great for metal, the humbuckers and tone options really make this a beast **Q: Does it come with a strap** A: No but it comes with a great case AND strap locks , I just got the bestselling strap for like 6 bucks on Amazon and it works great **Q: does it come with a hard case?** A: No, it comes with a padded gig-bag that does the job for me ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars quality *by C***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 June 2016* build, finish, electronics, looks...all good. light weight but sustains really well.great neck (and glue join with the body). it encourages me to go for some upper fret action.speaking of which...no sharp frets and none that are proud or uneven.paint job is immaculate and the ivory colour suits it perfectly.the tonal variations are almost too much for me but that's a personal thing. found myself quite happy using just two of them and switching between the bridge and neck pups. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars sounds amazing, delighted with purchase 😃😃 *by T***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 March 2016* Fab guitar, sounds amazing, delighted with purchase 😃😃 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/56536027-epiphone-enw2ainh1-wilshire-phant-o-matic-outfit-electric-guitar](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/56536027-epiphone-enw2ainh1-wilshire-phant-o-matic-outfit-electric-guitar) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-21*
