I was looking for a less expensive dry shampoo. I was using Living Proof which suddenly seemed to skyrocket in price and just didn’t want to spend that much money on it. So I tried a few different brands and this one has become my favorite. I wash my hair once a week and when it starts to look oily after about 3 days, I whip out the Verb and make the oil go away. I apply by lifting my hair up (it’s very long), and spraying at the roots to get right at the oil. Plus by doing that, I find it adds volume. I also use it on my bangs, which for some reason I didn’t used to and would just wash my bangs every day. But once I tried it on my bangs, I discovered it works great there as well. I am sold and hope the price doesn’t rise for a while as many prices are going up these days. I highly recommend!

It works great for its intended use. Sucks up the oils. But it leaves your hair a little stiff and it DOES leave white residue. It leaves my dark hair looking brown with a pale mask over it. Like I just dumped white powder over it. I know how to use it so it’s not that I’m not applying it correctly.

I'd pretty much given up on dry shampoos years ago, as what I tried (many brands, all prices) did nothing to extend time between hair washings. Also, most of them left light colored residue (I have dark red hair). Big Sexy Hair dry shampoo did sorta work (and gave some volume) -- but I stopped using it because it's quite spendy for the amount you get, which would be tolerable, if the nozzle did not malfunction every time with nearly half the can unused. MeH. Then I found VERB Dry Shampoo Dark! I love it! I have waist-length, slightly oily hair that normally needs washed every 3rd day. It's fine in texture and there's a lot of it. VERB actually gives me that extra day between washings, gives more volume at the roots, AND does not leave a white residue. Here are the steps I follow and it works every time: 1) Apply mousse to damp hair and blow dry (I love GOLDWELL Ultravolume Top Whip 4!) 2) Spray VERB Dry Shampoo Dark on roots and concentrate at the crown/back 3) Style hair (I generally straighten it but sometimes use a triple waver for fun) 4) Spray in and around with a good texturizer. (VERB Volume Dry Texture Spray is the best I've found) 5) Final touches as needed, then if using hairspray, I go lightly with Big Sexy Hair Spray & Play I have the most gorgeous hair of my life ...and it only took decades to find the right combo!

The BEST dry shampoo! I have fine, wavy, dark hair and have always struggled to find a dry shampoo that works without all the issues I have with others. It doesn't have an over powering scent and it helps me go longer than other dry shampoos do without that super expensive price. It takes me 4 months to get through a can of this stuff whereas others are easily 1-2 months because I would need so much product! Used to only be able to go 2-3 days with others because they would stop working or the product build up would be bad. I make it 4 days no problem now. If you have greasy hair you know how big of a gift that is! I LOVE this stuff!

Greatest dry shampoo I’ve ever bought and smells GREAT and not a cheap floral. I’m not a huge fan of common brands like Batiste, and my hair is greasy naturally, so this was awesome. Bottle is small, and I can’t afford to keep buying it, but if you can afford it DO IT!

Works as advertised , great for dark hair. Very over powering perfume smell.
