Ordered this battery to replace my 5-year-old original Dyson V7 animal battery that was dying. Was very easy to install and has comparable power to the original. Comes with replacement filters as well. I was very happy with not having to purchase the expensive OEM charger on an older vacuum. Battery lasts long enough to vacuum my entire house. I've only ever had issues once, where the vacuum would run for 20 seconds, then blink amber and shut off. After reaching out to the manufacturer, they sent me a replacement for my troubles. Would highly recommend not only for the product but the outstanding customer service as well

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Great kit of replacement parts. 3rd battery for me. First set of new filters which is what drew me to this particular battery. Super easy to install filters and battery. Comes with mini screwdriver, which was convenient, and a bonus cleaning tool I don’t appear to need, and great directions. Battery power seems good. Battery endurance and longevity TBD.

I should have realized from the start that the 6 Ah (amp hour) rating on the advertisement was not a reasonable claim. When the battery arrived it is clearly marked as 5 Ah. Testing proved that claim to be wildly inaccurate. I ran 5 constant current discharge tests, with an overnight charge in between. I ran tests of .5A, .5A, 1A and 1.4A constant current loads and an 8 Ohm load. The results were very consistent, 0.71 Ah, 0.71 Ah, 0.71 Ah 0.73 Ah, and 0.65 Ah. Overall almost a factor of 10 lower than the advertised capacity. Since it took me so long to get around to running the tests that I could not return the battery. So I opened it up to check the individual cell. After charge and discharge cycles and a fresh recharge the 6 cells varied by 0.5 volts, after a discharge they varied by .9 V. Not a good sign for a nominal 3.6V battery. Clearly these are not quality cells. Given that the Dyson battery is listed as 2.1 Ah, which I would believe is accurate given their reputation. This battery is only 1/3 the capacity of a factory battery. Sice the price is about 1/3 the price of a replacement OEM battery, you get what you pay for. I gave the battery a 1 star rating only because I can't give it a lower score. The 6 Ah claim is complete fantasy. Caveat emptor.

This fit perfectly in my Dyson, and works and charges as described. I give 4 stars because there’s a little bit of a lag when I start it, feels “after market”, but worth it for being 1/3 the price of the Dyson battery. Vacuumed my whole apt with no issues.I did have trouble getting the screws off the old battery, and actually broke the screw driver that came with this battery, so be careful. But I used a drill on the lowest setting to gently loosen them and then they all unscrewed fine.

I commend them in their excellent customer service skills I will be testing this new battery and If all is well this will be a 5 starInitially amazing but battery life is bad. Charge seems to last less each time now

Hopefully optimistic that this battery will last longer than a few months.I had high hopes for this 21.6V 6.0Ah replacement battery, but unfortunately, it’s been a huge letdown. At first, it worked well—providing a solid charge and powering my device without issues. However, after just five months of occasional use, the battery barely holds a charge anymore.Now, instead of lasting for hours, I’m lucky if I get even two minutes before it completely drains. I’ve tried proper charging techniques, and I always store it correctly, but nothing seems to help. For the price, I expected much better durability and longevity.A battery should last longer than just a few months—this feels like a waste of money. If reliability is what you’re looking for, I’d recommend considering other options.

Replaced the OEM battery with this. It works as advertised and I haven’t noticed any loss versus the original battery.
