I've been impatient, and enjoyed the bread as shipped without baking and find it chewy rather than crusty. No disappointment.
As good as we've enjoyed in Europe. A loaf is given to our Aunt, a native of Schleswig-Holstein, who appreciates authentic food from Germany.
