AstroAI Mini Fridge 6 Litre / 8 Can for Bedrooms, Small Fridge, AC/DC Power

I recently purchased the AstroAI Mini Fridge during a Prime member deal, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations in several ways. Despite its small size, it can hold up to 8 cans or various skincare products, which is exactly what I needed. Versatility: One of the standout features is its dual functionality as a cooler and warmer. This versatility makes it suitable for a range of uses, from keeping drinks chilled to storing skincare products that benefit from being kept cool. It also works well for travel, thanks to the AC/DC adapters, allowing it to be used in a car or plugged into a standard outlet at home. Performance: The fridge operates quietly, which is a big plus for a bedroom setting. The cooling and warming functions both perform efficiently. My drinks stay cold, and my skincare products are at an optimal temperature. The fridge cools down to 32°F (0°C) below ambient temperature and warms up to 150°F (66°C), providing a wide range of temperature control. Value for Money: Given the features and performance, the AstroAI Mini Fridge offers excellent value for money, especially with the Prime member deal. It's a versatile, stylish, and functional appliance that caters to various needs, from personal care to travel. Cons: The only minor downside I found is that it could use a bit more interior space for larger items. However, for its intended use, this isn't a significant issue. Overall, I highly recommend the AstroAI Mini Fridge for anyone in need of a compact, reliable, and versatile cooling and warming solution. Whether for your bedroom, office, car, or travel, it is a worthy investment.

Impressed with this up to now. I'm only using it for milk/butter/cans but I've put a digital thermometer inside and temperature is generally 20°C less than the room one (it's currently reading 4.6°C in a room that's 25.8). It does take a while to cool back down when you've opened the door. Internal dimensions are snug if as advertised and it's probably worth getting this size over the 6-can ones, it's quiet, and it seems fairly sturdy. I've only used it on mains power and haven't tried the warming function.

I would have given this a 5 star but for one annoying problem. If you pack the fridge with 8 cans, try getting them out ☹️ whilst I love the fridge, it is cold enough small and compact the width is not quite wide enough to allow you to pull out comfortably circular cans. 😡 5cm in width should do it and perhaps in height.

I bought one a year ago and I’ve been so impressed with its terrific ability to keep my milk, fruit, drinks and chocolate perfectly chilled (around 6 degrees; room at 28+) for my bed sitting room-even through the three heat waves. So much so, that I have bought another one for my car for Festival weekends (Brilliant! I simply plug the supplied lead into the cigarette lighter port!). I can only really hear it if I’m standing next to it. And I love the design-although I have had to get used to it having a smaller capacity than you would think from the outside. By with confidence- I have, twice.!!

Really handy little unit ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Update to review after 10 months or so - the fridge will lower the temperature around 10-15 degrees C lower than the room temperature the fridge is in. So if the room temp is 10 Degrees C, the fridge will reach below freezing temps. If the room is 30 Degrees C, the fridge will only cool to 15-17 Degrees. Which if I knew prior to buying, I would not have done so The AstroAI Mini Fridge is perfect for keeping drinks cool in my garage . It’s compact yet holds a surprising amount, and the cool/warm function means I can use it year‑round. Quiet, easy to plug in, and great for keeping essentials close by without taking up much space. Very pleased with it!

I bought one of these just over a year ago. It failed after 5 months. AstroAI sent a replacement. The replacement failed after 7 months. Look at how many 5-star reviews are useless "Just got it, it turns on!!" and how many 1-star reviews tell you what I am, that they will not last. Should have listened I guess. Please note all these peltier-device fridges are very poor at actually cooling and very power inefficient compared to small form fridges with a compressor. If you plan to use this sparingly and mostly on 12V as you have no other options, then it might come in useful. However, as a mini fridge to sit in a bedroom or work space to run 24/7 you will not get one to live a full year, invest about £90 in a small real fridge instead. It's also nearly impossible to get sufficient cooling from one of these in the summer. To get a cold beverage actually cold (and not 10-12c) you need to put icepacks in the freezer, and then try to squeeze them in the limited space available to help the unit cool below 10c. In winter, when you don't need cold drinks as much, it works fine. Final note that the heating mode just reverses the peltier and makes the inside warm and the outside cool. In an environment with any humidity at all (hello UK) this will make it condense water on the heatsink on the back, which can only drop down and into the electronic circuits. When I pulled apart my second broken unit I noticed water damage and rust(!) on the electronics where it is constantly dripped on by water if you use the heat mode. Please save your money and buy a fridge with a compressor. Hint: if it has a temperature control its a real fridge, these peltier fridges all run constantly.

Leave at least 48 hours before putting anything in fridge

4 cans fit well on botton, 3 cans fit well on top shelf, 4 with some Squeezing (Which I wasn't brave enough to do). Tape measurements are in inches. Will keep updating updating with pictures as yime goes on...
