OMG!!! this was so not what i thought. I had my ideas, my theories yet every single one of them was wrong.I really didn't like Xander, not at first. He was an ass and a jerk. He was arrogant at times too. I doubt many people had ever said NO to him.Liv drove me insane at times yet we've all been there, wanted someone who isn't good for us or even good enough. I was glad when she told Xander she was worth more.Gabby, Liv's sister was a first class bitch and i believe she is the one who is jealous. She is jealous of Liv, of Liv and Alice. Alice more of a sister than Gabby.Gabby, Liv's sister was a first class bitch and i believe she is the one who is jealous. She is jealous of Liv, of Liv and Alice. Alice more of a sister than Gabby. I liked Alice, i liked how close Alice and Liv are. They are there for each other no matter what.I really did enjoy the book. Its not your typical love story.

This is a funny, light and quick read. I had just finished quite a dark story and I needed something bright and laugh out loud funny to get things back on balance, and that is exactly what I got.Liv was so likeable, as was her BFF , Alice. Together they were highly entertaining. I loved the dynamics of Liv's family and the characters we met there. I really hope Aiden and Alice get a book.So why not 5 stars? XANDER. He was hot, sexy, witty and clearly incredibly talented but......I needed him to change his mind re his decision a bit earlier in the book (trying not to give anything away here) and he was really so obnoxious to Liv at times. Ultimately, he did redeem himself. It felt like he was written along the lines of a character like Bennett from Beautiful Bastard but Xander' s timing for his charm/ humility to kick in was a bit off. I needed him to be sweeter sooner.It is a really entertaining read with hot scenes a plenty. If you loved the Beautiful Series by Christina Lauren and Tangled by Emma Chase then go 1-Click now.Standalone, with potential for more.Told in Heroine's pov.Epilogue-yes.Would I read again? YesRecommend? Highly

I'm not sure but this wasn't they ending or the build up I want expecting , I felt it was roaches near the middle !Maybe that's just me and not everyone will eel the same right ?!!Characters were fine and story line was fine at the start slightly lost in the middle and towards the end I felt a bit rushed and wasn't finding the book keeping me interested to find out what happens !Xander and Liv seem to get together and then go separate ways and then back again for some fling and then again they try the distance to sort thief problems . Slightly felt this was amateurish ?!I'm glad I finished the book it's a quick easy read not something that you have to read the diary book had me more intrigued than the second !Still I paid and finished it as the author atleast deserves that !Just wasn't my cup of tea for some reason I felt it lost me halfway !

A really good book,by a good author. It has a very good storyline and keeps you engaged and interested all the way through the book. Its a little bit naughty in parts, but tasteful, it leaves you still wanting to read it, rather than feeling ashamed of reading such a dis tasteful book!!There are twists and turns all the way though the book and not quite as the title would lead you to believe and definitely worth a read!!!Just waiting for the sequel to be released " falling for my best friends brother"

This has been the most gripping book I have read for a while. I loved every minute of it. Except Gabby, I HATE her! I wish all the books were free because I'd read every single one. This had me crying along with Liv and Alice as they went through some hurdles together. And the massive plot twist about Gabby absolutely stunned me! I gasped as I was reading.Definitely a book I will read again in the future!

So going on from my freebie post, I read the teaser That Night but J.S & Helen Cooper which then of course made me NEED to read the full book, One Night Stand, and I don't think I was disappointed. Basically, you spend a lot of the book being confused as to why Xander (hero) is doing what he's doing (don't want to give away the plot toooo much). You are led to believe he is a bit of a bastard but of course it turns out he is an amazing man. There is a near sickening profession of love, it's a bit O.T.T even for the character I felt. I know it's a romance novel but this went on for half the page!Liv (the heroine) can be a bit childish with her friend Alice but I found I quite liked how gobby she could be. Her sister Gabby is just a terrible person and it's nice that Liv doesn't just take her s***. The sex in it is great, it's always hot and steamy between them and it really is just a classic 'one night stand turned into love' plot line.Don't expect to be left completely bowled over by the genius of it, it's a good book with great sex and funny characters who go off on tangents, oh and overprotective men. I think it's a nice easy read that will definitely raise your heart rate! I will actually read the next book which is about Alice and Aiden (Livs brother) so I obviously enjoyed it enough!For more romance reviews, find me on Instagram 'thesaucyowl'!

This really didn't float my boat, either as erotica OR fiction.The opening of the book jumps from now to then to now so fast I got dizzy. Xander is utterly unlikable, and Liv (who describes herself as the good girl in the family) still seems to be disapproved of by everyone.I got 31% in and gave up because I couldn't bring myself to care about the characters or their situation.

Wasn't expecting much from this but it was a pleasant sexy ride a business deal ending in a HEA maybe ? Thank god it can be resolved in the one book but it is the first in a series and I think we can imagine who the other people in the series are as a lot of these things go. This is sweet in places and the lead male Xander is a horrible two timing man hoe the type that I would like to get into a lot of trouble with but not good for anyone so I probably liked it more than your average reader unfortunately.

Divertente e simpatico si legge tutto d'un fiato e si fatica a sospendere la lettura. Ben caratterizzati i personaggi e la trama anche se ci sono un po' incongruenze si fa fatica a perdonare. Se può essere plausibile che dopo una notte di fuoco e un incontro surreale ma simpaticissimo, ben descritto e intrigante al matrimonio della rivale della propria migliore amica, la protagonista si ritrovi il bellissimo uomo con cui ha avuto un'avventura di una notte seduto in casa propria poco più di una settimana dopo e per giunta fidanzato di sua sorella - sorella peraltro antipaticissima, la classica odiosa che sembra quasi una macchietta tanto è dipinta in maniera "cliché" - poco plausibile sono le varie successive soluzioni per spiegare il perché l'Adone dei sogni della protagonista stia per sposare la sorella e soprattutto il come alla fine si risolve il tutto. Sinceramente un po' più di sforzo dal lato fantasia non sarebbe guastato. Per cui solo tre stelline perché il romanzo è comunque carino e può risultare comunque gradevole per lettori non troppo esigenti.

This book is funny, sweet, and oh so HOT.The characters are great, and have smoking hot chemistry. But at times the constant immature games can get a little too much, however I found this book refreshing, and it was great to get lost in the silliness. Well worth reading.

OMG! Absolute perfection! The Coopers have once again tantalized, teased, tempted and dazzled us! One Night Stand is the perfect trifecta of drama, humor and romance. The story is powerful, compelling, romantic, arousing, sexy and well written. The characters are witty, relatable, lovable and interesting. The dialog is sassy, smart, intelligent and well articulated. And the banter between the characters is downright hilarious! I was turning the pages so quickly that my Kindle couldn't even keep up! Oh my! Liv Taylor was definitely having a long dry spell - no dates and no boyfriend. She just needed to get laid. So when her best friend and roommate all but dares her to have a one night stand with someone from the wedding they were attending- she thinks why the heck not? She's always been the good girl -a regular miss goody two shoes- until now! She deserves to have a good time and some hot sex for a change! Right? When devishly handsome Xander James sees the beautiful Liv Taylor at the wedding, he wants her - her body that is. He doesn't know her name and doesn't want to know but he does want to have sex with her and it seems that she just may want to have sex with him too. So they both agree - no names - just one night of hot sex - and never the two shall meet again! Or so they thought! Let the games begin! Wowza! Fabulous entertainment and awesome read! Try it - you'll really really like it!

I've been waiting for this book for a while now and I couldn't wait to start it. I'm a Hugh fan of JS Cooper and Helen Cooper so I was excited to read their book.I love taboo romances and what's more taboo then sleeping with your sister's fiancée. I esp love that such said sister is a b*tch.I really liked Liv and Alice, they are too funny, goofy chicks. I loved Xander at times and thought he was an arse at other times, but he did redeem himself somewhere along the way...loved him and Liv together...talk about hot..I really loved this book and couldn't put it down till I finished it...come on Alice and Aiden. Great job on the book :)
