Einige sind, nach einem Spülmaschinengang unansehnlich geworden, in der Schublade gewandert und dann irgentwann entsorgt worden. Die anderen , pflegeleichteren hatten zu wenig Kraft, oder waren Reinigungsresistent. Danach habe ich mehrere Jahre Knoblauch und Ingwer mit der Hand geschnitten. Jetzt habe ich ein neuen Versuch gewagt und bin jetzt seit einem Monat stolzer Knoblauchpressebesitzer . Ich benutze sie fast täglich und und bin restlos begeistert. Die Presse ist außergewönlich stark bei minimalen Kraftaufwand. Knoblauchzehe wird restlos rausgedrückt, nur noch die kleine Schale verbleibt im Gehäuse. Nichts läuft seitwärts vorbei. Die Reinigung ist ein Kinderspiel, kurz unter fließendem Wasser halten und fertig. Was dem Knobluchschäler angeht, war ich erst skeptisch (was der Bauer nicht kennt ......). Geruch ist angenehm neutral, bis zum ersten Benutzung. Jetzt riecht es halt nach Knoblauch. Aber das Teil ist echt der Hammer. Knoblauch rein. Kurz hin und her drehen und nackt ist der Knoblauch. Allerdings soll man beim frischen Knoblauch nicht zu viel Kraft aufwenden, sonst kann man sich die Presse sparen.
