I bought this kitchen knife based on Which guide recommendation. It came sharp, and retained its edge after a reasonable amount of use. it has become my first choice when preparing veg. I made a sheaf so it is not dulled when in the drawer, if anyone can recommend a suitable sheaf would appreciate the post. The blade flexes so do I use a rigid knife for chopping. In summary good value for the money

Really great knife for a novice home cook. Beware- the 10 inch version, if you’ve not used one before, is really very large- users with smaller hands or who are less confident with knives may find this a bit intimidating. That said this is a fantastic knife with a useful handle, good edge and sturdy build. With the money you save buying this knife versus an expensive one, you could buy a honing steel or a whetstone and keep this workhorse razor sharp. The bread knife is no different- it’s won a few competitions and comparisons, for good reason. Cuts very easily, and strange as it seems, satisfyingly.
