A friend recommended this. We are 70 and 72 and were having trouble opening soda bottles. This thing is amazing!! One twist and it’s all it takes. My poor arthritic hands just could not open them any more and the hubby had begun to struggle with them as well. It will also open pop top cans, punch tops and the old type soda bottles. A great tool!! Also very lightweight. Seems like it will last a long time too, not flimsy at all. And only 5.99.

Great for opening bottles of pop and water.

had something similar from Pampered Chef and it broke and they no longer make it....so looked at Amazon and voila this item is great and does the same thing but even more. The only thing different that I wish this had is that it had a magnet on it so I could have it easily available from being attached to my fridge, which is what the pampered chef item had.

The bottle opener was too large to open the standard bottle twist cap on a bottle of soda, water etc.The hooky part did not securely engage to release the vacuum on the jar top. Those 2 features were what I needed. Pampered Chef used to have a gadget similar-that worked beautifully. They no longer carry it.The one I have form them has a crack and may not hold up much longer but, I have had it for several years and it has been invaluable as I am aging and my fingers and wrists hurt when bottle tops and jar tops won't open easily. I tried this product to replace mine and it was inferior and did not serve its purpose. Most items I buy on Amazon I am satisfied with and I have bought so much during this pandemic of 18 mos....This month I happened to have ordered 2 products that were unsatisfactory...sorry, I had to write another bad review. :0(

Product hole is much larger than typical water bottle. It's well made, shipped overnight and is easy to hold in an arthritic hand --but useless if you need to open a typical water bottle.

Strong and easy to use. Got it for a client of mine who had a stroke, he can open bottles on his own now. Great for arthritis in the hands, minimum strength needed. No magnet,no wine opener. Helped make him more independent.

I’m not sure I could do without this as I age!!
