Very nice lamp. It came well packaged and is operating with no problems. I suggest to read the instruction's fully and give enough time with it continuously on the first time you use it. (This will take time, just let it go). It is wax and it takes time to become liquid, especially the first melt.

Bought this for my niece and she loved it! The lamp doesn’t get too hot and the colors are vibrant. Great gift and nightlight for little ones.

Love this lamp! I absolutely love the auto shut off option since i like to fall asleep with it on and it gives me piece of mind. I LOVE the yellow wax color and how it looks with the purple liquid

The lamps take a long time to heat up. There is a circular spring at the bottom of the glass bottle where the wax sits. If this ring gets bumped before the lava wax cools down, the lava won't flow. Shaking or swirling the bottle around (caution hot!) until the circular spring sits flat at the bottom nearest to the heating element seems to fix the issue and the magical lava soon begins to flow.

EDIT: Customer service was quick to respond and very friendly!! Will definitely buy this again, I’m sure the one I got was just defective.The lamp worked perfectly until it turned off by itself and I noticed the power switch somehow shattered apart. I don’t understand how that could’ve happened considering the lamp was left on a table untouched. Very disappointed since I only had the lamp for a week before it broke. :(

The only good thing about this lava lamp is the picture on the box when it arrives.The first thing I noticed once I pulled it out of the box is the weight. For a lamp, let alone a lava lamp, it is very light. The glass portion itself carries the bulk of the weight making it top heavy— making it almost impossible to find a safe place to actually plug this lamp in. The base is also made of very thin metal and is two separate pieces— meaning it wobbles no matter where you put it. The bulb is relatively easy to reach— as I had to replace the one that was included because it was burnt out before it was even used. Luckily, at the same time that I ordered the lamp I had purchased four additional 30w lava lamp specific bulbs on Amazon for half the price of the actual lava lamp. Unfortunately, two of those bulbs were also burnt out. Now I said it was easy to reach — yes—- but actually getting it out of its socket is another story. As you turn the bulb counter clockwise to release it the entire base of the socket wants to turn with the bulb making it extremely difficult to remove the bulb from the base. At this very moment, I am on the third time trying to change the bulb and it’s been over an hour—- and it won’t budge— the socket just keeps turning and turning. I give up.….and that is why I am here writing this review so that maybe I can prevent at least one person from experiencing the torment that comes from purchasing this lava lamp.I know this is just a review on one lava lamp— but I have two—- and they have both given me the exact same problems from day one. I will not purchase this item ever again— and I will not recommend this item to anyone. Save yourself time, money, and the stress you do not deserve and find a different company or brand for your lava lamp purchase.
