Rustic just right
These wood pieces are of a high quality. They feel dense and are heavier than they appear. However, they do float because they are wood. I soaked them for a few days and now one piece has sunk down to the aquarium floor while the other is a float. I will weigh it down with a rock pretty soon. I am very satisfied with these for the color, size and design. They look fantastic with an auburn - brown coloring that covers intricately twisted natural wood surface textures. Highly recommend these.

Driftwood
I bought this to help condition the water in my fish tank. I have about 15 guppies in a 30 gallon tank. I had a pleco but unfortunately he died after having it 2 years, I replaced it with 2 albino Cory catfish ( I know I need to get more, I plan on buying 4 more in the future). My tank water levels went up after it died. The ph was up to 8 and nitrite and ammonia went up. Also I have very hard water but use seachum prime for that with every water change. The driftwood brought everything to normal range so that’s why I give it 5 stars. I only boiled each piece for about 30 minutes, then let it soak in clean water for about 3 hours. 2 of the pieces finally sank to the bottom but the largest piece kept floating. I’m currently soaking it now, and plan to put it back in my tank after a few days. The pieces I received were very good quality but not what I was hoping for. I wanted something my fish could hide in but probably after I add the biggest piece I can create a cave like structure with it. I added a photo of my tank. I just added plants to my aquarium about a week before getting driftwood, so that’s what might have helped water quality also. My tank isn’t finished being decorated, that’s why there are empty spots lol. Just wanted to show 2 of the pieces I received. Also my fish love the driftwood!!

Totally worth it
Totally worth it. Was a little nervous as you don’t really know what you’re going to get but both pieces were awesome. Did a pre-soak before putting into tanks. The first one pictured, in my 10 gallon betta tank, is growing a grassy algae, even roots. It’s extremely healthy. Just ordered two more for other tanks I have. While I want to say take the risk; I have seen some photos of what others have received… I get it… However it is worth it for what I’d spend on two pieces this size from Petco. Fingers crossed for tomorrow’s delivery.

Adds depth to aquarium
Okay, so not SPLENDID but nice! I order 7:-11 inches I should have been brave and got the 14 inch, my aquarium is 29 gallon tall. It definitely adds some hiding caverns and the texture of the wood is beautiful and knotty the color rich. I boiled it at least 12 times over 36 hours, lots of brown tannins water came off. My tank is new and levels good. Enough for fish to be happy and safe, they are happily exploring. Good value for money at $19, well worth it. I used a small rock to hold one log down I know it will stay down soon 2/3 pieces stay down straight away.

Drift wood set of 3 medium sized
Love these pieces of drift wood great size all different shapes. I purchased for tortoise pen but would be great anywhere. They are better deal then others larger sized and get 3. Great deal. Look like wood sturdy and light.

Not bad but not what I was expecting...
I ordered the 2 pack 10" - 14" Mopani driftwood pieces. They arrived quickly and were packaged well. They were also within the advertised size. I think these would be great for someone using them for a small aquarium or SMALL reptile enclosure. I gave these 3 stars because of a few reasons. 1. I ordered Mopani expecting it to be similiar to the picture, one showed up kind of close to what was shown but the other was very pointed and looked more like the spiderwood (see pics) 2. The spiderwood looking piece was very small except for 3 skinny branches jutting out from the sides, which could be great for an aquarium but not what I was looking for 3. The more curly/wavy piece had a very big but thin piece that was about to break off and seemed maybe rotted and was black (see pic). Overall, I don't think these were bad pieces and would work great for other enclosures or projects they just didn't look similiar to what I ordered and needed. Will be returning.

Beautiful pieces
The pieces of driftwood that I got are beautiful. BUT they did take at least 3 times of boiling them for a couple hours each and 4 days of soaking to get the tannins out. They are worth all the prep time.
