The working class faces a dismantled welfare system, the capitalists are losing their hard-earned profits, the middle class is gradually fading and the state is sinking into a deep deficit. Amidst all this chaos, the only person who can provide guidance is... you. Will you take the side of the working class and fight for social reforms? Or will you stand with the corporations and the free market? Will you help the government try to keep it all together, or will you try to enforce your agenda no matter the cost to the country? CLASSES: The Working class controls the workers. The Capitalist class controls the companies. The Middle class combines elements from both the Working class and the Capitalist. It has workers who can work in the Capitalist's companies but it can also build companies of its own, yet smaller. Finally the State is trying to keep everyone happy, providing benefits and subsidies when needed but trying also to maintain a steady income through taxes to avoid going into debt. While players have their own separate goals, they are all limited by a series of policies that affect most of their actions, like Taxation, Labor Market, Foreign Trade etc. Voting on those policies and using their influence to change them is also very important. Through careful planning, strategic actions and political maneuvering, you will do your best to increase the power of your class and carry out your agenda. Will you be the one to lead your class to victory? Hegemony is heavily based on actual academic principles such as Social-Democracy, Neoliberalism, Nationalism and Globalism, and allows players to see their real world applications through engaging gameplay. There are many ways to achieve hegemony- which one will you take? ## Features - Hegemony is an asymmetric politico-economic card-driven board game for 2-4 players that puts you in the role of one of the socio-economic groups in a fictional state: The Working Class, the Middle Class, the Capitalist Class and the State itself. - WILL YOU BE THE ONE TO LEAD YOUR CLASS TO VICTORY? Players have their own separate goals, they are all limited by a series of policies that affect most of their actions. - INTRIGUE: You will decide how Hegemony plays out. Will you build alliances and negotiate to lead your class to victory, or will you resort to Machiavellian maneuvers to seal the fate of your enemies? - MECHANICS: Hegemony is an asymmetric card-driven politico-economic game that makes use of mechanics like Resource Management, Hand Management, Voting and Variable Player Powers. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0CJGSDJD1 | | Age Range Description | 14+ | | Best Sellers Rank | #104,910 in Toys & Games ( See Top 100 in Toys & Games ) #2,250 in Board Games (Toys & Games) | | Brand Name | Hegemonic Project | | CPSIA Cautionary Statement | No Warning Applicable | | Color | Multi | | Customer Package Type | [FFP] | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 4.8 out of 5 stars (106) | | Edition | First Edition | | Educational Objective | Strategy | | Genre | Strategy | | Included Components | 1 game board, 4 dual layer player boards, 325 cards, 222 cardboard tokens, 121 printed wooden components, 110 wooden cubes, 42 transparent cubes, 7 storage tiles, 1 cloth bag, 5 player aids, 4 rule aids, 1 rulebook | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Indoor | | Item Dimensions | 11.81 x 11.81 x 3.94 inches | | Item Dimensions L x W | 11.81"L x 11.81"W | | Item Type Name | Board Game | | Item Weight | 500 g | | Language | English | | Manufacturer | Hegemonic Project Games | | Manufacturer Part Number | HPG_HEG_01 | | Manufacturer recommended age | 14 years and up | | Material Type | Cardboard | | Minimum Age Recomendation | 168 | | Model Number | HPG-HEG01 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Number of Players | 1-4 | | Operation Mode | Manual | | Rulebook Availability | Printed Included | | Set Name | Hegemony | | Size | 11.81 x 11.81 x 3.94 inches | | Subject Character | The Working Class, the Middle Class, the Capitalist Class, the State | | Theme | Strategy | | UPC | 753692068918 | | Unit Count | 1 count | ## Images ![Hegemony: Lead Your Class to Victory - Unique Asymmetric Card Driven Game, Political Economic Board Game, Ages 14+, 2-4 Players - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81p6VwSdzIL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Style** options. ## Frequently Bought Together - Hegemony: Historical Events Expansion - 50 New Cards Add Events to Your Gameplay, Unique Asymmetric Card Driven Game Board Game, Ages 14+, 2-4 Players - Stonemaier Games: Red Rising | A Competitive Strategy Game Based on The Novels from Pierce Brown | Craft a Hand of Powerful Characters from The World of Red Rising | 1-6 Players, 60 Mins, Ages 14+ --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/564563620-hegemony-lead-your-class-to-victory-unique-asymmetric-card-driven](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/564563620-hegemony-lead-your-class-to-victory-unique-asymmetric-card-driven) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-11*
