Effortless Volume and Smoothness — A New Favorite Styling Tool
I absolutely love this thermal brush. It’s incredibly easy to use and gives that smooth, voluminous blowout look without the complexity of juggling a round brush and dryer. It reduces frizz noticeably and adds beautiful lift at the roots while still keeping the ends soft and polished. The barrel size is perfect for creating movement without overly tight curls. It heats evenly and feels well-made in hand. I’ve actually referred it to several clients because it’s such a simple way to elevate at-home styling. If you’re looking for volume, smoothness, and ease in one tool, this is a great option. Five stars.

Easy to use and actually does the job
I think like many people, I ended up here after seeing video after video on TikTok of ladies getting gorgeous results from this tool. I finally caved but was skeptical and figured there was no way this would work as well as I had seen. Well, just hours after receiving the item, I had really pretty, smooth hair with bouncy ends! It heated up quickly and was super easy to use. I have watched approximately a million videos of people using this tool which I think helped. It will definitely take some additional practice to figure out how to get a curl vs a flip at the end, but I’m pretty impressed at how it worked on kinda greasy, unwashed hair. It looks a lot better than regular straightening, and I was able to use larger chunks of hair which made the whole process take maybe 10 minutes, so will definitely be fast for use before work. I’m lazy about styling and think this will be a good way to style without a ton of work. I have very long, mostly straight hair. I have a ton of hair but individual strands would be considered pretty fine. The brush glided through my hair really easily with just a few hang ups here and there. It definitely is gonna rip some hair out like any tool, but I don’t think it was more than a regular straightener. Overall, this works exactly as I had hoped. YMMV depending on hair type, but I think it’s worth a try if you have been mesmerized by videos like I have. I look forward to getting more practice and may update with a photo as I use it a bit more and get a sense of longevity in particular. Hopefully I continue to be impressed. UPDATE: I still am liking this, both for mostly straight hair with a flip at the end as well as adding a bit more of a curl. The curls do not last long on me (a few hours tops) but I also only use heat protector and I’m sure longevity would be better if I actually made an effort to use different products. I think this would work even better for someone who has more layers than I do.

Great brush! Button position needs fixing.
I’d give this 5 stars if the moved the on/off button and temperature buttons. Everytime I do a section it looks absolutely amazing but, then my finger turns the brush off or to a different temperature. I’d buy again but, future models maybe move the buttons.

Wavy talk
A-M-A-Z-I-N-G... I use it every time I want a blowout look and it works like a charm, It leaves my hair soft, gives it a light-weight feel, and it dries hair like the snap of your fingers, doesn't leave a smell, and it gets hot FAST.

I'm shook!
WOW! It truly works. I have long, coarse, thick hair and it is a chore to get my hair to look right. Not anymore, this thermal brush took 5 mins to achieve what the hairdryer, revlon brush and a straightening iron took an hour or more to achieve. This brush is also quiet(not like the hair dryer or Revlon brush) easy to manipulate and reasonably priced. Stop reading reviews and buy this! I never write reviews, but I just had to, everyone should know how well this thing works!

Softest hair of my life
I just had this delivered and was dying to try it. I usually air dry my hair so this is perfect for my hair. Took 15 mins to get this out. Since I already curl my hair using this wasn’t hard. I got it figured out after a couple passes. Honestly didn’t expect it to be such a winner for $40. My hair is super soft, and not frizzy at all. It feels nice and heavy, definitely brush your hair through first it can get a little snagged. Small sections, one pass to get it kinda straight and smooth and second pass to get a nice bouncy curl.

Not a blower, too hot to handle
The barrel is hot enough to burn your hands, your scalp or your face. The controls are right on the handle where your thumb goes so it’s easy to change the heat level without knowing about it. The name of the item is deceptive as it says it’s a blowout express. It does not blow hot air. It is a thermal brush, but there is not enough protection from the bristles to keep from burning yourself. Other than that yes it does work well to smooth out your hair, but it is not without danger if it’s left where a small child could get to it they would get a bad burn. It gets us hot as an oven. I don’t recommend this item for the above reasons

Wavytalk Thermal Brush
I purchased my Wavytalk last June 2024 on a recommendation from a youtuber I have watched for the last 6 years and have used it almost every single day since. I have medium length, thick hair & I do color to keep my gray hair in check. In the several months I have used the Wavytalk I have not had any problems with it damaging my hair. It actually does make it look healthier each time I use it which no other curling iron has ever done before. And I use it every morning for work so believe me when I say it does not dry out my hair or make it look frizzy. I also have switched to better hair shampoo/conditioner and a blow dryer for my hair type so I think that plays a part too. Now there are two reasons why I am not giving it 5 stars. One, I have thick hair and the time I have to hold the brush to get a curl is longer than the 20 seconds that is shown in the directions. I end up leaving it in for about a minute. And even after doing that the curl does not hold well in my hair. My hair falls flat only after about half a day at work. Recently I started using a workable hairspray that I spray on before and it seems like it helps a little bit. Still, it doesn't last as long as I would like it to which is unfortunate because when I first curl it & finish it up it looks perfect. The waves are gorgeous & it looks like I did have a professional do my hair! The second reason is because I noticed that the brush bristles are falling off at a rapid rate so I will have to end up purchasing the brush again and it hasn't even been a year. I hope that they make improvements to it in the near future. Please please please make a new brush that can hold up the curls for people with thick hair and make some changes to the brush bristles so they don't fall out. Overall, I am happy with the Wavytalk thermal brush and would recommend to give it a try. I think you will love it, it is a game changer! Update 7/2025 Well, I ended up contacting the Wavytalk folks to replace my brush a few months back. Within two weeks I had a replacement. Customer service was great, unfortunately, I can't say that I am still in love with the Wavytalk. Yes, it still softens my hair & makes the frizz go away but it also is damaging my hair & small hairs are falling out every time I use it.. not just a small amount, I am covered in small hairs after using the brush. I know... this is the total opposite of what I had said a few months back but this was not happening in the beginning, only after about a year of constant use did I start to notice. I was using it on high heat & for a longer amount of time so I started using the lower heat & only kept it in my hair for 20-30 seconds. I have been using heat protectant products beforehand as well. I am disappointed to say that none of this has helped. Maybe because my hair is thick & it only works for thin hair but I am not sure. The replacement brush is also losing the bristles so this probably will not last another year! I figured it would happen since they sent the exact same brush as I had before. I sure hope Wavytalk can make some improvements. For me, it just didn't work out.
