Best for reheating pizza
Best for reheating pizza! Works as advertised, though the real strength was in reheating pizza. It gave me a crunchy crust on the first try and I was actually quite pleased with how good it came out!! The times given in the instruction book were not quite right for me, but I think it probably depends on the size of your microwave. For me; I had to add about an extra minute or two to what the instructions listed. Took a couple of tries to figure that part out, but I got the grilled cheese to work perfectly!

Reheatza, schmeetza.
Reheatza? LOL. This product is nothing but hype. Looks great on TV. Does not work, using instructions included. Some microwaves sense the metal in the product and do not power up to preheat the Reheatza. My opinion, this thing would be better off in the landfill where it won't disappoint anyone else and where I have to send it since the seller won't allow returns. Trust me, you will be happier with hot soggy pizza reheated in your microwave. I will continue eating tough pizza rolls when I don't have time for the conventional oven method. Now searching Amazon for a good toaster oven. Might take slightly more time, but I am 100% certain to get hot, crispy pizza rolls.

... to have left over pizza at home and I hate reheating it
We tend to have left over pizza at home and I hate reheating it. It always become soggy and way too hot. This is a great solution for that. You just follow the easy steps and you have no soggy pizza anymore. In the book it talked about using it for frozen snacks. I tried it for chicken nuggets since they always get soggy when they are breaded. I microwed it by itself for 2 minutes first, then microwaved the nuggets in it. It said 2 minutes, but the package directions said 1 minute for the nuggets. I checked at 1 minute. Still frozen. I then added the minute like the Reheatza said. Still frozen. I then took the cover off like the directions said for 30 seconds. Still cold. While I appreciate that the nuggets werenโt as soft, I donโt think Iโll be using this for snacks since it took 3 times the amount of time and hungry kids donโt wait. This was also for only 4 nuggets total. The size is fine for us to store. Itโs nice and sturdy. It is handwash only, which is hard for us to use often. Overall I like it for pizza. I need to try it for other items and Iโll report back.

I love it for my Grilled Cheese but FOLLOW THE USER MANUAL or this Amazon video - NOT MOBILE DEVICE VIDEO ADS!
I like this product very much, HOWEVER, there are ads running for it on several of my mobile devices that are clearly INCORRECT in showing how to operate this item, and potentially HARMFUL to people's health if used as shown on them. I applaud Amazon.com, however, because the video shown HERE correctly shows how to use this device SAFELY - you need to pre-heat the base AS SHOWN here and described in their manual, and THEN put the food on it and heat it. Also, I would NEVER 'build your sandwich (or whatever) ON the base unit, itself, as some of the 'goofy' mobile device ads show, or you'll get a serious burn! Because the bread I sometimes get is VERY soft, I sometimes toast mine (VERY LIGHTLY) first in my toaster oven, and then build my sandwich (I don't use butter as they show), building my sandwich 'open-faced' - then heat it in the Reheatza, allowing the cheese to melt evenly, then flip it together and cut it once I get it onto my serving plate. That seems to work great for me - but I ALWAYS use hotpads when handling this unit. It is a great idea. Haven't had a chance to try it yet on very much else....

Easier to use a skillet or broiler
I was so excited to get this pan but it didn't work like I thought. My plan was to use it to quickly reheat pizza, chicken nuggets, fish sticks, et al. You first have to heat up the pan 2-4 minutes to get it hot. Then you have to cook the food and it seems to take longer than normal. I eventually just went back to doing a little heat up on a plate in the microwave and then throwing it under the oven's broiler to crisp... Faster, easier, done. It didn't work for me but maybe depending on what you need to use it for, it may work fine. It's a sturdy pan, well made and easy to clean.

This is a Pass!
I really wanted to like this product but I did not. I could have got past the fact that it takes 4 times as long to heat things up in the microwave but what I could not get past was it does not do the one thing it is suppose to do. I tried to reheat left over pizza in this thing several times. The result where not good. The bottom of the pizza was not crisp. It was still soggy. I got better and quicker results by putting left over pizza in a frying pan on the stove with a lid on it. I will not go into the disasters I got with other foods. But it was not good. This will go into my closet with my other misfit kitchen toys.

I loved it more than I thought I would
Oh My Gosh, I loved it more than I thought I would. I purchased this pan and left it on my counter for several months before using it - silly me. I needed to reheat an orange chicken dish and wanted it to be as crispy as it was the previous day, I remembered the pan. It worked exactly like the commercial stated. I had sizzling crispy orange chicken, the rice was crispy too; but, yum! I will continue to use this pan often. I now canโt wait to try other things.

Not As Advertised!!!
Just received the Reheatza Microwave Crisper and tested it immediately on a 1000w microwave by making a grilled cheese sandwich! Heated the base for 3 minutes; put the buttered bread on the base and microwaved for 3 minutes; flipped and did another minute and 45 seconds; no brown whatsoever! heated in 30 second increments 6 times on one side and 10 times on other side to get slight brown; not crispy at all!!! Am SO disappointed. Will try one more time...will heat base longer next time! OK...gave it another try! Heated the base for 4 minutes; the center never got hotter than 300 degrees and the edges 50 degrees cooler! Tried keeping the 2 slices of bread separate this time like in the video! After 7 minutes (at 1 minute intervals) the pieces of bread in the center (4" diameter) got brown and the half on the outer edges never did! This is extremely poor design when a 4" ring in the center get 50 degrees hotter than the rest of the base! I don't see how this device is gonna make pizza crust crispy again! However, I will give it a try! Guess I'm a sucker for good advertising!
