How long does the calm effect last?

The effects can range from a few hours to the entire day depending on the individual, their diet, & the circumstances. The suggested use is two capsules once daily, with a meal or as directed by your doctor. However we have had some users who prefer to split the serving into two portions (such as one in the morning and one in the afternoon) and report positive sustained results taking one capsule twice daily. Since this is not in the suggested use, we advise you to consult with your doctor if you have concerns before choosing to do so.

How long does it take before the affects of Zen start?

What is the purpose of the ashwagandha if it's only 100 mg?

Ashwagandha in large dosages has the opposite effect of relaxing you. In large dosages it highly increases your energy causing you to be more awake. I think the purpose for it in this particular supplement was for the relaxation
