No it does not. Just make sure you don’t place the strap to high on your shoulder and your fine. I use this all the time at Disneyland when my nephew gets tired of walking especially waiting in lines.

Q: My husband and i plus size parents, will this work for us?

Not sure if this helps but I'm 8 months pregnant and I am 5'7" about 195lbs and I use it comfortably with no issues. There are a few inches of additional material left when I wear it so I would assume someone larger than me could use it comfortably, but not sure on exact size.

Q: How does this feel carrying a 40-44 lb. toddler?

My daughter is 38lbs and I carried her in lines at Disneyland with ease. Really helps take weight off arm.

Q: Could someone use this with twins? One on each side?
