This brand was the beginning of my troubles. The printer did not recognize the cartridge as new and full. I have used non HP cartridges for many years. With this one, I did end up replacing the black cartridge because the others seemed full. The printing worked a couple of times and then began saying the cartridges were damaged. I'll try to clean the print head. If it doesn't clean up, I'll have to buy another printer.

Have the 8600 and it didn’t work at first. Tried resetting, unplugging, was about to send back and then exited a day tried again. Didn’t work so I got rubbing alcohol on a qtip and wiped in the printer where the chip goes and where the ink goes in then it worked.

I have been buying authentic HP Ink Cartridges for my 8600 for the entire life of the printer, and since I have two printers now, I decided to try these cartridges in my old 8600. I am impressed. My fears about losing my faithful old printer were completely unfounded. They print great with great print quality. You will need to wait a few seconds for the ink to dry if you are printing a document with a lot of color though as the ink in these cartridges left the page visibly wet. Also, the printer did say that the printer cartridges were non-authentic HP cartridges and that it could not guarantee the print results, but it did not reject them, and I will take that Any day over paying a fortune on HP cartridges. I will definitely buy more cartridges from this company in the future. 5 Stars.

The yellow ink cartridge worked however, I just tried to use the black ink cartridge and get a printer failure. They say they are compatible with HP 951 through 950 XL but it is not

My HP 8100 printer uses the cartridges just fine. Just be sure to peel off the tape on the top before you instert it. I was a little confused about the thin clear plastic overing the nozzel on the bottom corner, wondering if I should try to pull it off or cut it out. Instead I just inserted the cartridge and igored it. I believe it punctures this thin plastic when you insert the cartridge because it works just fine without needing to remove the thin clear plastic from the nozzle.

Some printers are sensitive to non-authentic toner and cartridges but this worked and the print quality is great! No leaking of the cartridges and they loaded quickly. Great value for all of the colors! Compatibility is 100%
