The Golden Girls - Season 3 - Complete [DVD]

I usually never have this problem when buying dvds, so this was a strange one. I'll be testing each disc to see if their working, but their is a few scratches and lots of fingerprints on the discs themselves. The plastic that holds the discs was also smashed inside, and that caused the discs to be left shaking inside them dvd case. Unfortunate.

waited so long to get this was nervous with it been import but so pleased i did no difference than buying uk version highly recommend anyone taking that chance to buy imports

This series highlights many of the problems and situations which present themselves in the life of a +50 single woman.I love it (being over 50)!The humour is non stop with now and again a touch of whimsical memories making the cast seem believable and lovable at the same time. Sophia (Estelle Getty) of course almost always steals the show when she is on the screen - delight, delight, delight.The kitchen table "midnight feast" is something with which most women can relate - chocolate cheesecake taking the scene.Perhaps not so much for the younger generation, although they could get a glimpse of "later" year dilemas, but for the over 50's a sheer ageless delight.Well done Golden Girls. You have endured through the modern ages to entertain us still..I love you.

Bought this to watch on my own as hubby and boys went to Murryfield to watch the rugby. Sat down with a glass of wine and put the dvd on. Haven't seen this comedy for years and it was so refreshing to watch it again. It will always be a classic comedy and has aged well. Will be purchasing more of the series shortly.

want to watch something that will cheer you up and transform you to another world, then watch the golden girls, best sitcom ever made. so funny but straight to the point, covering every aspect of everyday problems, tears and laughter. just adore it, and wish they had made more. brilliant viewing. if you had never watched this sitcom, just watch one, and you will be addicted for life.

Brought 2nd hand and the quality of the cover was appauling but the discs were as good as new, as what they said the product would be. Golden Girls is just brilliant!

Season Three of the Golden Girls is just superb. I can't recommend this dvd set any higher than I recommended Season 1...the girls just keep getting better and better. "Golden Moments" was a delight, reliving those earlier moments and I shall never forget Rose on the dance floor, pushing her two best friends aside so that she can deliver her cartwheel and splits performance. An absolute gem! When are we going to get Season 4 and Season 5 on Region 2...I'm getting withdrawal symptons and I'm sure I'm not the only one!!! Keep 'em coming, girls...
