It is for children 3 years and up due to the small blocks being a choking hazard, even though the description mentions 1 and 2-year-olds repeatedly. The online description is very poorly written with terrible grammar. The set is nice and comes with 8 cards that are 2-sided that show pictures of 16 different ways to stack the blocks. There are 25 painted wooden blocks/beads that stack on 5 unfinished dowel rods that are attached to an unfinished wooden base. There are also two cords that the children can use to string the blocks/beads. This helps children learn to focus and exercises their fine motor skills and develop hand-eye coordination. This is a great educational toy. Someone just needs to work on the wording for the advertisement. It definitely needs to be corrected so that people understand that this is not for 1 and 2-year-olds. The box that the toy comes in clearly states that it is for 36+ months. I wanted this because it said it was for a 1,2,3,4 year-old, but upon unpacking the item, it says clearly on the box that it is not for children under 3 years old due to choking hazard.
