Great book but conclusion is missing?
Great book! Has a lot of great information and easy to read. Great for teenagers. However, page 53 is missing, which is supposed to be the author’s closing words. It has just a black box over where the writing is supposed to be (see image). That is the only reason I am giving this 3 stars. Would be a 4 star if it had the conclusion because without it, the book just ends suddenly leaving you wanting closure.

I remember my 1st love & ultimate heartbreak and want some helpful nuggets ready ...
I have a teen daughter so I purchased this book for her future! I remember my 1st love & ultimate heartbreak and want some helpful nuggets ready for whenever the time comes for her. But really I was curious to read what Emilee had to say to this age group about dealing with a first love ending. It's very easy to understand and to read quickly. Her words of wisdom are spot on! This is THEE perfect book to help a teen/young adult move forward in a positive direction following a broken heart. I highly recommend! (I bought the paperback version and just want to mention there were multiple words misspelled and prepositions omitted, which I have never noticed in a book before. But no biggy. However, the last 3 pages are blank, with one of them being all blackened! After the blank pages there are 4 sentences. It seems as if the entire conclusion to the book went missing. Not sure what happened there?)

A definite must-read for everyone!
I’m amazed how Emilee Day explained the pain of heartbreak in a rational way that you’ll even wonder “Why I didn’t think of that?”. This is more than a just self-help book, each chapter tells its own story about love and pain and how to get over it in different ways. The author did a great job in explaining why almost all “firsts” are unforgettable. Her writing is eloquent and easy to understand. Initially, I thought this would be all about psychological analysis and stuff, but it’s actually more than that. I would definitely recommend this to everyone. If you’re struggling with overcoming a heart break or just looking for a good read, you have to grab this book.

Worth Reading
Nice book that had some very valid points in it that I could relate to myself from my first break up many years ago. Material that is relatable is always easier for the reader to grasp and understand and it also helps them to realize they are not alone. This as a good and quick read and was not too drawn out. Kudos to the writer.Well done.

Great book for parents to read!
This book offers so much practical advice that everyone can use. The advice provided will also help you guide your child through the turbulent emotions they are feeling and hopefully not damage them emotionally.

A Short Book That Could Change A Life Long Effect
I am a 14 year old sophomore. I'm not dating, nor have I been in love. However, I have many friends that feel like their world is going to crash and burn due to a relationship ending. For this reason I suggest people read this before they date seriously, and maybe re-read after a break up. I wish I knew about this book then to tell them about all the helpful steps in this book. It is useful for both guys and girls, although it's told in Emilee's perspective. Chapters 6 and 7 could be for people that are coping for other reasons, so not necessarily your boyfriend or girlfriend. I would highly recommend this book to others!

good stuff!
Bought this book for my daughter who is really struggling with a recent breakup. This is the only book that I found that really seems to target teens or young adults. I read through it before I gave it to her and the author does a good job at explaining the phenomena of one's first love and how to deal with it. Wish I had this guide years ago! So far she's enjoying it. Would recommend.
