Great device. All tools needed were provided so it took me maybe 10 minutes to install. I watched a video how to change them ahead of time but things were pretty straight forward. Can't comment on longevity but so far works great.

Very happy with this tailgate dampener, half the price of Deezee for what appears to be an equal product. I had a Deezee on another truck and the cable was constantly binding on it. This doesn't do that and doesn't look like it ever will on my 26 Ford Maverick.

Easy to install, works perfectly, However I am a bit concerned that the snaps in end are made of thin plastic and can see that this may easily break in the future.
