Simply Crochet: 22 Stylish Designs for Every Day

This is a nice crochet book, with some nice patterns.Unfortunately having had a sneak peek via the "Look Inside", I was expecting more in here that I would like there was. This is not to say that the book is not worth buying, the majority of the patterns were just not to my taste.

Use up your stash of yarns (left over or odd balls) with these stylish crochet patterns. whilst there is nothing that sets me on fire here, there are several patterns I would be happy to wear. I love the Nedbert sock puppets for kids but my favourite pattern of all was the Emma Lace Scarf. I also liked Doris Chan's tunic style top (it comes in two lengths) and the cowl wrap by Linda Permann as well as Kristin Omdahl's traditional shawl. The 22 patterns are split into one, three and five ball projects. They include wearables for women and children as well as home accessories. This review is not meant to be a reflection on the seller, who filled the order quickly with a book that is in great condition. But... I ordered the book because I saw one pattern on Ravelry that I wanted. As is often the case, it's the only one in there that is interesting to me. The thing is not "stylish designs" but "stash busters." Um... a granny square afghan? OK whatever. But now I go to start the vest I wanted and the written instructions do not match the diagram. My bad. No more buying whole books to get one (disappointing) pattern.

I started by taking this book out of the library, liked so many patterns that I decided to purchase the book. It came in great nearly new condition from the seller and really fast. I am looking forward to making several projects from this book for the holidays and beyond.

Great designs! I love Robyn Chachula and the fact that the patterns are charted.I would recommend that you check Ravelry with ANY pattern in ANY book before you buy yarn and start working. For example, the Emma scarf (one big reason I bought the book) uses at least twice as much yarn as the pattern states.

I keep going back to this book, especially when I'm looking for a project that may suit a new luxurious yarn or when I'm ready to use that gorgeous single skein I've been hoarding. Besides, I just love looking through these patterns.

Great book with lots of nice patterns. The delivery was very fast! Book quality was just as described.

It was good. It had a couple of outstanding patterns and the rest were so-so. I did enjoy it and it gave me inspiration for other things so it was diff worth it. I will be looking at more of Robyn's books.

I like the patterns in the book.I will be able to say more after I try to make some of the items. The only thing I noticed was that it would be better if there was more of a variety in sizes.

I'm reviewing this for a friend. She doesn't do online shopping, so I bought it for her (she gave it as a gift to her daughter). It has some lovely styles and lots of pictures. She really liked it.

the projects pics are gorgeous. these patterns are to be used as gifts throughout the year. the yarn requirements are minimal

I really have had a hard time finding "stylish" patterns and this book really helps fit the bill. Great Book

I am retired so like to dress casually. That's why I like the patterns in this book. A good variety of crochet patterns!
