These were my saving grace this summer. I traveled a few times. One time was a week travel with no checked bag so I had to get everything in my carry on. This made that much easier. I then spent 9 weeks at a summer camp and fitting 9 weeks of my life in 2 checked bags and two backpacks was difficult but these bags and portable vacuum were the only reason it was possible. These bags are great and the vacuum works well too. Sometimes you need to mess with the silicone seals on the bags for the vacuum to actually suck the air out but it’s no biggy to wiggle them. You will need to keep recharging the vacuum as you seal the bags cause it becomes less powerful the more it’s used but again not a huge deal to me.

Bought this for my sister who was going to be traveling with a great deal of clothes. This worked perfectly. The bags fit so much, not to mention there’s a couple of different sizes to meet all needs. Sealing it was super easy and once it’s closed it doesn’t open easy like others. It compressed a lot of clothes pieces. Overall I’d say it was a win ! I’d definitely buy again.

Bought the 12 pack because I needed small bags to stuff more clothese in my suitcase. I have used many brands over the years and found Simple Houseware and Amazon Basics to be very good, but they don't have small bags like these. In my experience most leak over time, but this time I don't care since I'm just trying to take stuff to the destination and leaving most of it there, so I am good if they stay sealed for a few days. Like the others these compress very well, and it makes packing easy. They were cheap, arrived overnight, and were durable enough to get to the destination. I threw the hand pump away and used my vac since these bags went on a one-way trip.

I bought these bags because I was going on a long trip to South America (almost 12 hours in a plane), since the airline only allows one full suitcase for free I was thinking these bags would be great for packing my clothes and all I was taking with me. The variety of bags was excellent, the thickness very pleased with it, they sealed good and the value for the money was also great. The only thing that I did not care for very much was the little vacuum pump that comes with it to extract the air from the bags. In some instances it would work more or less ok, in some other instances it would not extract the air at all, so this was a little frustrating as the packing was taking longer than I expected. I resorted to use my home canister vacuum cleaner to see if it would help, and it did, even though I did have some troubles with certain bags to extract the air. It occurred to me that if I push the deflating valve and then try it again the air was extracted almost instantly (with my home vacuum cleaner), so there was something related with the valves that was preventing that air from being sucked. The provided usb charged vacuum did not perform very well at all.

Better than nothing but the bags & seals did not last as long as I hoped. However if you only travel 5-10 times a year, they are an improvement. They reduce space & protect clothes from a leak in luggage.

I was really excited to try these travel vacuum bags and had high hopes for them. I’ve used them multiple times, but they just didn’t end up being my favorite. That may be more about me than the product—I tend to overpack and often travel with thicker items, which seems to work against these bags.For me, the air eventually seeps back in, I somehow always lose the little blue sliders, and even after vacuuming, the items still feel bulky rather than truly flat. I wanted that sleek, space-saving result, but I didn’t quite get it.That said, they’re not a total miss—my guy absolutely loves them and has had much better luck using them than I have. So while they didn’t work well for my packing habits, they may be a great fit for someone who packs lighter or more strategically.

The ziplock came without the hand pump. The bags look good but without the hand pump it serve no purpose.

Pump worked once ... I packed a few bags and it worked really well. But the following day it won't work ... nothing ... I charged it up but even when it says it's fully charged I can't turn it on - it wont pump. So the whole purchase was a waste of money.

Be mindful when using the vacuum pump, it’s a bit loud though. But it work well.
