This is absolutely amazing. I got it for my 3 year old and he enjoys it well as there are variety of things to watch on it. Easy to set up and the battery lasts really long. It is sturdy with the proof case and I love the parental guidance on it. Worth the buy

I am a long term user of iPads, investing in apple ecosystem and expecting a certain level of quality. I purchased the Fire tablet 8 for kids last year for my son and was severly disappointed with the quality. It was really slow to respond (to anything), the image quality on screen was lower than I expected, but it was cheap and purchased through the prime day sale so I assumed this was the standard of tablet. This year, I caved during the prime day sale and purchased this for my son as an upgrade. The responsiveness is exactly what I would expect from a premium tablet. It is fast to use, the screen quality is decent with everything looking sharp. I couldn’t be happier, and for a quarter of the price of the cheap iPads I don’t see how Amazon can achieve this. No, it does not run the same apps, and is used entirely differently, but for my son this is perfect. We use this for trips, and we can download loads of content for offline use. I cannot state how good Amazon Kids is. We can loads it with suitable content, and he really engages with the educational apps, learning to trace letters and numbers and learning to read. He would not normally engage with some of these activities until he could hold a pen, so this is a great head start. We take it with us for road trips to keep him entertained in the car. The battery life is fine, but could last longer. This is probably the only criticism I have. If you aren’t in a hurry to purchase this, or you aren’t 100% sold, wait until an amazon sale day and get a huge discount. It is worth it. Plus with a years access to amazon kids, there is loads of content. We managed to find loads of digital copies of the books he reads at home, and he loves that we can read all of his favourite bedtime stories when we are travelling.

Fantastic, perfect for my autistic daughter, the case is very protective, the tablet has a decent battery life, screen quality is fab, so is the sound, amazing value for money. It is bigger than the previous model but really an excellent upgrade! Worth every penny

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my daughter. Out of all of her gifts this was by far her favourite Although most parents worry about screen time with their little ones , this is excellent As they can not only watch shows or movies But also play games and learn new things and skills. As a parent who didint want to introduce electronic devices to my kids too young , I’m over the moon I bought this and it pays it for itself . The amount of apps and things for her to do on this is crazy I like to read stories to her off the tablet and we like to listen to music and sing nursery rhymes together aswell as playing games (she particularly loves the peppa pig game and the Barbie colour creations ) This is much better than just watching cartoons on the tv as they are also learning in a fun way. We also use it in the kitchen Watching YouTube recipes and me and her try them out . It’s great for long car rides or for situations your little one may be a bit fussy or when doing chores and need something to occupy them. As you can download apps and shows on to the tablet , when your out and about and not connected to the internet they can still be entertained. You can also turn on the blue light so your Childrens eyes won’t be affected looking at the screen . From the whole range I’m so glad I decided on this size as a few of my friends children have the smaller ones , but for not much extra your getting a lot more screen which is excellent for me as my partner also loves playing the games on it . It also has an excellent battery capacity which is great for children who want it and want it now 😂my daughter has dropped it several times also and still looks as perfect as when she got it . My daughter loves anything pink so this was such a winner and played some part in getting this model It’s a lovely baby pink colour and looks exactly as it looks in the pictures Overall I can’t rate this high enough It is so fun for me and my daughter and she is learning new things on it everyday If you purchase this , you will thank yourself that you did 😁

In my opinion this tablet is an excellent tool that toddlers can use for learning and co-ordination. There are plenty of games and activities pre- downloaded on the tablet so can be used straight out of the box. Lots of excellent features for parents to limit access to certain things and usage. Picture and sound quality is brilliant considering the fairly low price. The case that comes with the tablet is sturdy and firm, multiple times has it been dropped and slightly mis-treated, no problems so far! The size of the tablet is perfect, not too large that it won’t fit into small bags, and not too small that it makes it difficult to use. I would like to see more colour variants and perhaps slightly better battery longevity, at times it seems the battery level drops really quick, particularly if it’s being used for games or videos. Overall I’m really happy with this purchase and think it’s great value, even more so when it’s on offer which seems to happen a lot!

Looks fabulous, i bout the 2022 for my grandaughter and I've just purchased the new addition for my Grandson, absolutely child proof , great study tabblet, does everything needed , I got my Grandson one as he keeps pinching his sisters now he is old enough to use one.My only grip was how it was packaged in the warehouse. They packed it underneath heavy cleaning bottles and my fabric softener leaked onto the box .The tabblet isn't damaged in anyway but the box got wet so it looks a bit battered which wasn't great as it is a birthday gift .

This tablet is tough! I bought two for my twins. My son is rough with his, kicking it and even sometimes standing on it, but it still works perfectly and looks as good as new. It’s great for learning and very kid-friendly. My 3+ old is now a little pro at using it. The battery life is superb and a lot of app varieties. However, you do need to supervise what your child is watching, especially on YouTube. There's a YouTube app that my daughter accesses often, and somehow she sometimes ends up on content meant for older kids. I haven't been able to remove the app, so I have to regularly log in, clear cookies, and reset the content settings to her age group. One feature I wish it had is support for an external pen or stylus. That would help my kids learn to write as well, instead of just using their fingers all the time.
