Base is small
Base is not big enough and poop lands outside. Which is whole purpose of the base to catch poop. I have green cheek conure.

It is a little wobbly so my birds (cockatiel and budgie) are tentative to use it.

I wouldn't use this for a real bird
I purchased this item for an art project because I didn't have the time to make a perch. I was disappointed by its lack of sturdiness. It was easy to assemble but it leaned to one side. If I hadn't been pressed for time I would have returned it.

DONT BUY HARMFUL TO BIRDS FEET
Top post has nail heads sticking out top of perch and several cracks all throughout the perch which can harm birds feet as they stand on perch. Screw at bottom of post isn't long enough to put the wing nut on to secure the post to the platform. Just received today and after opening package and seeing condition of the PIVBY Bird Stand Perch immediately processed a returned withn 10 minutes of receiving it. Don't buy this one, look for another post.

Don't expect a heavy duty product
I thought it could support a small parrot, but it is on for parakeets and love birds.
