Jeka Kerzen Christmas Pyramid Carousel Candles, Large 17mm - White

We have a Christmas Pyramid from Germany. These candles fit it perfectly! I was worried I wouldn't find the right sized candles here in the States. The quality of the candles is great as well as the size. They burn well and are long lasting. They do not drip at all.

I wasn’t sure if these would be too small, as it seemed to me the opening on my candle holders was 3/4” and these just a tad smaller in mm. But, it did 2 drops of wax at the bottom of the candle holders from one of these candles burning and then put one of these in the spot and it fits perfect! I was using the candles for silent night services that are 1/2” thick (to small for my pyramid) so had to use puddy before to get them to stick and they also burned pretty fast. These are a little expensive for only 21 candles, I paid $25 with tax I think it was. But, they do fit right and worked great as I tested them out a few minutes.

A few years ago we got a tall original German-made Christmas pyramid and this Christmas it was time to get replacement candles. These fit our pyramid perfectly. They arrived quickly, were of good quality and in great shape (I read other reviews where candles had partially melted during transport). Here is what I learned while researching which candles to order, etc.: - Make sure that you measure either the diameter of one of your original pyramid candles (should you still have some left) or of the holder itself, preferably with a metric measuring tape. The smaller pyramids seem to take 14 mm (i.e. 1.4 cm) candles whereas the larger ones need 18 mm (i.e. 1.8 cm) candles. - Make sure to order during cold season to avoid the melting problem - Lastly, should you need such candles and travel to Germany at some point, try to buy them there. I researched the price for these on Amazon Germany and the identical box there cost Euro 2.99, which is roughly $4 (in 1/2012). Regrettably I didn't have any trip coming up (:-)) and had to bite the bullet and buy them here in the States where, including shipping, they are six times more expensive. The one star deduction is for that outrageous price. These were truly the most expensive candles I ever bought and had I not wanted to display the Christmas pyramid so badly, I would have gladly passed on them. Other than the price, I am satisfied with my purchase.

These candles do not drip or smoke when used out of drafts and are very nice quality. I buy them every year for my Christmas pyramid. I melt the small piece of wax that covers the wick to hold the candles in the brass cups of the pyramid, which works so nicely that it is probably the way they were designed! :)

Absolutely perfect fit for an antique lamp that I converted into a candelabra. When I finish the conversion I realized I needed smaller circumference tapers to fit in the candlabra. I searched high and low and these were the best and seem to be good quality.

Ordered the 17mm candles and received the 14mm ones. A paper label stating 17mm incorrectly had been placed on the box. Box should of had 18 candles, but had 50 short 14mm candles instead. Great value since paid less than that box of candles go for. Think they will work in another small angel chime. Definitely will not work in the large pyramid carousel. The other colors ordered came in correctly and work perfectly. Not worth the effort to return especially if will work in something else, so will keep.

Candles arrived in heavily-taped box, which immediately indicates that the item is NOT "new"! Once opened, the candles are not the proper kind for German pyramids. In fact, these candles are bowed, misshapen, and NOT EVEN ROUND, so they don’t fit into the pyramid candle holders. It seems that “reject” candles were used and passed off as the real thing. Very disappointing.

Passen super in die Pyramidenhalter. Meist bekommt man nur die „kurzen“ Kerzen und in der richtigen Länge dann Weihnachtsbaumkerzen, die dünner sind. Lieferung superschnell und auch kein Bruch an Kerzen dabei.

Das Produkt hat eine gute Qualität. Selbst als die Kerzen heruntergebrannt waren, hatten sie noch ordentlich Kraft, dass man die Dreh-Geschwindigkeit über die Flügelstellung reduzieren konnte. Bei anderen Kerzen mit dem gleichen Durchmesser blieb das Karussell häufig stehen. Es scheint, dass etliche Billighersteller mit Wachs- und Dochtmischungen arbeiten, die weniger Hitze erzeugen. Dieses Jahr war es auf jeden Fall eine Freude.
