Excellent Puzzle - Thick Durable Pieces, Everything Fits Properly, Whimsical Design
The Trefl Prime Eye Spy 1000 Piece Puzzle - Imaginary Cities: Rome was a fun puzzle for the family to complete. While this wasn't a particularly difficult puzzle to complete (we finished it within two days, intermittently working on it), it was definitely fun to do and we enjoyed the level of detail that went into the puzzle. The pieces feel substantial and are almost twice as thick as other puzzles that are comparably priced. I liked how the pieces vary in shape and lock together securely without being too loose or too tight. When fully assembled, the puzzle can be picked up from the corners and moved around without the entire puzzle falling apart. Each piece is cleanly cut with no fraying or edges that are peeling up and when I initially emptied the full bag onto our coffee table, there was very little dust that came out. That said, there was some dust in the pieces, but not so much that my hands felt gritty or dusty while assembling. There is no large poster to refer to when assembling this puzzle, but the image on the front of the box is large enough to be easily used as a reference. There are only two areas of the puzzle that you'll have to really figure out for yourself since there is an image overlayed so you can't see the actual puzzle underneath. It's not super difficult to figure out those two areas, but it's something to be aware of if you absolutely need a reference to complete a puzzle. The puzzle we received contained all the pieces to complete the puzzle in its entirety. My family and I enjoyed the complexity of the build as it wasn't overly difficult or overly easy. There were plenty of areas that we were able to complete quickly such as the waterway areas, but we did get fooled a few times by the many red roofs in the image as well as the many people who were all holding their hands up as if they were cheering. We enjoyed the tiny details hidden in the puzzle and if you're a gamer, you might just see a cameo from a famous Italian plumber brother...sadly, his older brother did not make an appearance. Overall, this is a fun and very well-made puzzle. I definitely will be looking into other puzzles made by Trefl because the quality is good and the puzzles are reasonably priced.

Looks difficult
I'll be honest, I haven't started this one yet. But, I did open it to see what was waiting for me. The pieces look kind of small, but of high quality. My fear is that the pictures on the puzzle are so random, it's going to take me forever to finish it. I'm waiting for a snowstorm to trap me so I can start....

Very nicely done
This is a great 1000 piece puzzle. The quality is good. The colors are bright and clear and the pieces have a coating so they should stay nice through multiple builds. Personally, I’m in love with wood puzzles, but for cardboard this is good quality - and way more affordable. The design is great. There are so many fun little scenes in here. The style makes it easy to group the pieces by colors. It’s not one of those thousand piece puzzles that you’ll never get through. If you have another puzzle from this company marked UFT, you can combine the two puzzles and make one big scene. I have a kid in the house so I don’t dare take out multiple puzzles but it sounds like a great challenge. For a puzzle this size I really would’ve liked to have had the scene printed out on paper, so you don’t have to have the box out the whole time. The box is on the larger side for what the puzzle pieces require, but it has to be bigger so that you can see the detail. This is a great project with fun little surprises as you build. I can’t wait to finish it!

Unlimited Fit Technology
This is a very nice puzzle... thick pieces, very little dust, and it's 1000 pieces. I like the surface texture of the puzzle pieces; it's a nice matte finish with little glare but seems durable. The artwork on the puzzle is super cute; very complex with bright colors. This one could be difficult to put together due to all the details in the artwork, but you should pay attention to those details because there are a lot of funny little things to find that are kind of "hidden treasures", so it should be entertaining as you go along. I've put together about half of it and the pieces stay together nicely if you need to move large sections around. The puzzle does NOT come with a companion poster, so you need to rely on the box lid for a reference if you get stuck. However the box is big and the artwork is clearly printed there with very little covering it so you can easily use the lid to refer to. On the other hand, I don't like the big box; it's probably quite a bit bigger than the puzzle pieces need and it's harder to find a place to store it when it's so big.The puzzle is packaged inside in a stiff cellophane bag. Mine arrived with the bag broken, but the outer box is sealed on all four sides so although I'm not done with the puzzle yet, I'm pretty confident that all the pieces are still there. What I'm totally intrigued about is their Unlimited Fit Technology that they describe on the back of the box. Evidently you can take more than one of their puzzles that are designated UFT, and combine them into one giant puzzle, and they describe how to do this on the back of the box. I have two puzzles now from this company and I'm super excited to try this out and see if it works. The price is quite good for a 1000-piece puzzle; I've recently acquired several 1000-pieces ones that retail for nearly double what this one costs and they aren't any better quality than this one.
