Very light weight. I purchased this one for a friend for her birthday because I loved mine which I’ve been using. Almost daily for one year and it is still super grippy. Love the thin Ness of it too. I love this mat. I have been using it for about 8 months now, and it really improved my practice in a heated studio. When I first started practicing, I had so much trouble with down dog and other poses that require grip - once the room heated up and I started to sweat, I would slide around and almost fall. This mat has solved those problems!Pros:Sticky for great gripGorgeous colorEasy to roll up & carryCons:Sticky means it is constantly dirty and a bit hard to cleanStains easily and some color has fadedSmells rubbery (which might bother some)Overall, my only complaint is that it is hard to keep clean. But I’m happy to deal with that for the excellent grip and improvement in my practice.

A friend who is a yoga teacher highly recommend this mat for a non-slip option. She said it’s by far her favorite and now that I have mine and have been using it for a month, I couldn’t agree more. It’s wonderfully grippy, and feel about half the weight of my Manduka EcoLite. I thought that mat had good grip, but this one is far superior in that department. The only reason I could see someone not liking this one is because it does require you to lift your hands and feet more when moving into different positions as it’s not as easy to slide back. A good example would be when going from down dog to lunge, lizard, etc. and going from those poses back to down dog. I actually like this because it’s making me be more intentional with my movement instead of being lazy and falling/dipping into the postures too much. All in all, it’s made it easier to have proper form in my yoga practice and it is lightweight with great grip!

I debated for a long time whether I should invest in a high quality yoga mat or not. When I committed to doing yoga daily, I realized I couldn't keep churning through cheap yoga mats ($20-30 range) that are slippery and that start breaking down after a few weeks. So I researched the yoga mat market and decided on B Yoga Mat. And after using it for a few days already, doing Vinyasa Flow and Power Yoga mainly, I'm SO happy to report that this yoga mat seems to be sturdy and has an AMAZING GRIP. It puts all other yoga mats I previously bought to shame. The only downside I can report is that it does smell like it came right out of the factory to my front porch. But after airing it out the smell is going away. It's a small price to pay IMHO for an amazing yoga mat that actually supports me the way it should. I cannot speak for how well it does with sweat because I don't do Hot Yoga and I don't sweat all that much, and certainly never from my palms and feet. But under normal conditions, it works great. LOVE it.

The only issue I have with this beautiful coloredMat is that you can see every mark on it. I've tried to clean it but the spots do not come off. If there is a way to clean it I wish someone would let me know. Otherwise it's perfect!

I thought I found my mat! It’s sticky, it’s not TOO heavy , it’s spongy , BUT , I’m finding that it will not lay flat. It get bubbles on the sides no matter how much I adjust. It’s not my floor , because I’ve tried it on different surfaces. What gives ? I reached out to support , I hope I don’t have to return , but I would not be satisfied if this problem lingers

I love this yoga mat! I’m 5’10” and I fit! I was so tired of having my feet hang off the end of other mats. I also like that this is “sticky”, so I don’t slip and slide if I get sweaty. Well worth the investment!

What a great mat! Ive been looking for a long grippy mat that will stand up to sweat dripping all over it and still allow me to hold my poses. Its also long enough for me (5'10) without me feeling like im going to fall off. I absolutely love it and it was worth every penny!

This mat is perfect for my practice. Cleans effortlessly and is comfortable to lay on in savasana. Supports my back, my wrists and feet. Would always recommend to use for yoga or even a fitness class as I've done both with this mat.

I finally found the "sticky" mat I've been searching for for hot yoga!!I own a mat from the other big guy in town. (You know the one, starts with an "L" and ends in lemon lol). I had this mat about a year and a half and never really loved it. And then I really started slipping and sliding everywhere ugh!I tend to do mostly hot yoga and all kinds (flow, power, beats, etc.) so I need a mat I can stick to. I practice on average 4-5 days a week and I don't really sweat so I know it wasn't me. I read probably 100's of reviews online of all kinds of mats and still couldn't decide. I finally had it narrowed down between 2 brands (one of which was the Bmat) and on the recommendation of a friend I went for the Bmat. I've used the it about 20 times or so both in the hot studio and at home (damn covid!) and I have to say I love it. Its a tad thicker then what I am used to and next time I might try the 2mm instead of the 4mm but all in all its what I was hoping it would be.The only con so far it that its exactly what I wanted, sticky, so dust and pet hair does stick to it too but I don't really mind because it cleans off really well.Defiantly recommend this if your looking to "stick" to your mat in hot yoga.
