Nice cable at a good price
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Nice cable at a good price. The 19X1 strands are pretty stiff and strong, but plenty flexible enough to bend with a transition from level to angled for stairs. Very tough to cut - do yourself a favor and spend the extra money for a quality cable cutter like Knipex. Also, don't order a length that is too close to what you expect to need. The job is a lot easier if you have excess cable to sacrifice while cutting and pulling it.

Better design than others
I’m a carpenter and do a lot of cable railing systems. What I like about this particular cable vs others is that it’s single strand. There are maybe 8-10 solid strands that twist around to make the complete 1/8” cable. I have bought other brands where each substatand is made of 50-100 tiny wires. I feel like this style of cable will hold up better over time. Even stainless steel rusts eventually. This is now my go to.
