Bought for my bioshield. Fits well. Packaged well. Despite Amazon's best effort to destroy it... Arrived intact. No Teflon wrap like the Panasonic bulb so be careful not to touch the bulb. Not a big deal. Installed today... I'll post an update when it finally dies.

I give 5 stars for customer service (also, the lamp works well so far). I got the product before expected, but couldn't install it until after the expiration of the window of return. Trying to install it, I found the 4-pin connector is thicker than the plug I had and the lamp didn't fit. I contacted Light Shop Direct explaining my issue and I got a reply the next day telling me not to worry even to return the previous lamp: a couple of days later I got a new lamp that fits perfectly.

Works same as original and lasts about 2 years.

This product was used for cleaning and sanitizing the A coil and duct work of a residential-type unit located in one of our Donations centers at Ohio Valley Goodwill. We used one previously at another location and it worked very well.

bought a new bulb as after 16 months my old one did not survive a furnace replacement. got the first bulb - could not get it to fit in the socket. it was too big. so I thought maybe I ordered the wrong one. was very particular and made sure I ordered the right one as the product required. got here and it did not fit either. tried to grind it down to a smaller circumference. just broke. I do not recommend this product to anybody. i have an extra buld and a hole in my hvac plenum that does nothing now - junk

Bought this UV light bulb to replace the original bulb that came with a Bio-Shield UV for my AC system. I found that it about 0.5” longer that the original one which wasn’t a problem for me since my AC duct could accommodate it, but it might be a problem for others, so double check yours before buying it. It didn’t have the Teflon warping like the original bulb, so be careful when you install it, don’t hold on the bulb when you insert it to the unit since it can break, instead hold on the white end close to the prongs. About the prongs, they are a bit bigger than the original one, so you’ll find it difficult to insert. My suggestion, mark your original bulb when it is still on the unit, to know how deep you will expect your new bulb should go in by comparing it with each other when you insert it. This way you know for sure that the new bulb is fully inserted and no need for you to keep guessing and pushing it in since it may break like some other reviewers had mentioned. Don’t forget to loosen/remove the ring on the base on the unit first. Other than that, it seems to be working just fine to me. Time will tell how long this bulb will last. It’s made in China by the way.UPDATE: I thought I should give an update on this, the UV bulb is still working just fine with no issue after over a year since installed. I think it’s the time for me to replace it to get optimum UV light. The pictures show after a year of use, still worked but showing signs of burning.
