Exceptional projector even in daylight.
The media could not be loaded. Exceptional Daytime Performance with the Casiris Omnistar L80I recently purchased the Casiris Omnistar L80 and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations. The picture quality is outstanding, offering vibrant colors and sharp images that truly enhance my viewing experience. One of the standout features of this projector is its brightness. Rated at 1500 ANSI lumens, it delivers a bright and clear image even in the daytime. This is a game-changer for me as it allows for versatile usage of the projector at any time of the day.The auto-focus and auto-correct features are also impressive. They work seamlessly to provide a crisp, well-aligned image without any manual adjustments. This is a huge time-saver and adds to the overall ease of use.The built in speaker works so well I do not use my soundba, so if you was thinking of getting a soundbar I believe you should try without as it is not needed in my opinion. While I do use xbox and fire cube the built-in wifi connection works well I use the other connections for easy connection to home camera system through Alexa on fire cube and gaming on xbox.In conclusion, the Casiris OmniStar L80 offers great value for its price. It combines excellent picture quality, high brightness, and convenient features to deliver a top-notch viewing experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone in search of a reliable and high-performing projector.Chris.

Great picture quality
This is so much better than my last projector. Vivid colors, auto focusing, and quiet. Set up was easy. The picture is bright enough that I can watch even with the lights on. Great price too.Only downside is the menu is “hidden“. The up arrow on the remote has to be pressed to see option for “source “ since I use an HDMI port. It’s a minor inconvenience.Very happy with my purchase.Update: There is an input button on remote to switch to HDMI port

Better than expected. Even from China and how cheap it was... hmmm...
I'll eventually update with pictures.First off, I was just wanting a cheap replacement for my roo. As my old one, which cost a few hundred more, went out after 10 hours of use. Decided to not get get same brand and what not. This one, however is unexpectedly good. Not the best, but for the price actually wowed me. Maybe I was the lucky one to have gotten one what is pretty decent. Maybe not.Anyways, this is definitely 1080 native. The brightness is pretty good with ambient light within the room. If I used a black screen, I am sure everything would be even brighter with higher quality. For now, I use a black backed white projector screen that does a good job allowing light to reflect pretty good. This projector I have to say is really good for the money it costs. The apps within the menu is convenient so I don't have to buy a separate de ice and the built in speakers are decently loud. Not emersion or high quality, but definitely has loudness to it with some quality. The auto focus is amazing. Works just how it's suppose to, was not expecting it to.Downside to this, no lens cover as lens is deeper within the case itself, providing no means of a cover, but using a shammy that I use for my glasses cleans it no problem, leaving no scratches or dust. Cleans great.Issues that isn't really a concern, but can live with is the factory default keystone all being at 0, leaves the screen all distorted. I mount it using the ceiling, but end up maxing out the projector keystone to fix it. Just barely can see a side issu on the keystone and is maxed, but only noticeable if like 20 to 30 feet away. Another issue, as I only tested netflix, is that you are stuck with a mouse pointer to choose movies or to login, ect. The software that holds the apps allows just button use. Wondering if other apps require mouse pointer. May try a wireless mouse and see if it can be used. Conclusion, the projector is mounted exactly 10 feet from screen surface to front surface of the projector and casts a 60in. X 36in. approximately of a screen. Depends on what aspect ratio you have it set to and the keystone as well. Has great quality for the price, pretty good sound, built in available apps but have to download them within the software, variety of available apps, bright depending on screen or background your casting on, and of course the price. Honestly, if the keystone was fixed and the apps didn't have a mouse pointer and allowed just using the remote arrows, I am pretty sure this will be worth as much as the $1,500 one I bought that casts about the same quality being 1080p native. 4k does, I want to mention seem to work pretty good and looks to be a slightly better quality than 1080p. So possible 4k support, but dont remember what the specs said about that.GDefinitely recommend, but we will see how long it lasts as my other cheap one lasted 10 hours. 1,000 times improvement from the 500 one that went out. Not as good as my $1,500, but can definitely almost be competitive. Just those few issues... shame on those.I will update if the projector ever has a problem. If I don't, then It has lasted, which I am aiming for it to do. I always review the products I buy.Don't expect the unexpected even if the expected becomes unexpected as the expected may well be unexpected. In simple terms, just because it's cheap or expensive, doesn't mean it's low quality or high quality. Time will always tell...

Poor quality
The 1500 ansi lumes is great and the video quality too, but after 2 weeks it started to have a yellow spot showing in the white color.

It's bright and cheap and loud. Buyer beware.
It is bright, but I doubt it's actually 1500 ANSI Lumens. Probably about half that. The auto keystone works great. It's nice and loud. The software is horrible, but at least it's in English. None of the apps like MAX can be updated so they no longer work. If you plug a Fire Stick or Roku into its port, you'll be just fine. For some reason, my unit is slightly uneven so there's always a slight tilt to the picture which I manually adjust using keystone correction. For the price, I like it and would recommend it, but the brightness could not be 1500 ANSI Lumens.
