While installing new speaker wire (14 gauge), we found that if we could even get all of the wire into the small holes, you can't push the lock-down buttons into place because they would not go down far enough to do any good and then they just fall off.While the product may be OK in some applications, it would be helpful if the seller listed the limitations such as wire gauge supported.

Worked amazingly in helping me fix my stereo speakers. They had a broken RCA tip so i just stripped the wire and plugged negative and positive ends into the red and black inputs on this terminal. Worked like a charm and I don't need to buy new speakers!

I needed these to connect Studio Monitors to my sound system amplifier system. For testing, I spliced together my own wires, however, I knew this was only a temporary fix. I ordered these connector adapters and I'm glad I did! No issues (and they've been place for quite a while now) and they're super easy to use (always remember to connect your sound wiring "in-phase" - which means positive terminal to positive terminal (ow white-to-white, red-to-red, etc.).Looks to be quality made - they should last as long as needed!
