Un libro non per tutti. Un testo affascinante che mette in luce aspetti poco noti di questo popolo speciale completamente non belliggerante. Un popolo pacifico che è stato sterminato. Un popolo con una tradizione da riscoprire. L'unico difetto è che il testo qui presente è stato scritto da missionari e quindi è un po' di parte, ma è un prezioso contributo per gettare un pò di luce su i Tainos!

Es un libro de referencia sobre la cultura taíno del Caribe. Es el texto de la cronica del catalan Ramon Pané enviado de Colon, el libro contiene referencias de las primeras cronicas y citaciones del primer contacto despues de la llegada de Colon. Tiene excelentes notas explicativas detalladas y una iconografía muy rica sobre las costumbres y herramientas Taino, es una lectura recomendada para todos interessados sobre esta tematica.

Right out of the package the pages started to fall off!!!! For someone that loves books and takes good care of them this is frustrating! The book is well written.
